League is extremely fun and addicting. Its a huge dopamine kick. When I play, I stay hooked for hours on end and have to stop myself.

When I code, I'm mostly just thinking hard and not very happy. The best part is the "aha" moment, and the huge dopamine kick of solving the programming/debugging problem. It is also NOT addicting.

These are two completely different things. I'm not sure why you're so determined to compare the two. They are insanely different.

He takes Adderall my dude. I'm a developer and I use absolutely no cognitive enhancers. If I took Adderall I would be able to code for 20 hours straight. I took a small dose back in college and that stuff is insanely good for long hours at anything.

Also, I'm speculating here, but I think he is on Testosterone Replacement Therapy, which also has insane energy, mood and cognitive enhancements.

Lastly he takes a ton of stimulants.

I don't for a moment think he's working purely off "natural" energy.

Biden directly closed the Keystone XL pipeline after Trump had us at energy independence. Also, he and his democratic party pushed and passed the biggest spending bills in our nations history. You don't think that directly affects inflation and gas prices?

You must be living under a rock, or willfully blind.

its crazy how high in the list anti antidepressants are. In my case, I was diagnosed with hypogonadism. A simple prescription of testosterone cured my depression.

Makes me think how often people have been prescribed antidepressants when it could really be a hormonal problem.

Someone needs to write a book "C++ The Good Parts", similar to Douglas Crockford's "Javascript the good parts".

C++ is insanely bloated and complex. If there is a book distilling the best and cleanest parts of the language, I might give it another look. Haven't considered it in earnest since College.

You're comparing a school requirement for children, with extensively studied and venerable vaccines (which are not RNA based) to a government mandate on all federal workers, and soon to include the private sector as well (ie get it or get fired)? Seriously?

I can home school my child, but cutting off peoples livelihood is not the same.

If you cannot see that, then there is no reasoning with you.

You seem to be upset (ie cursing etc), you should perhaps consider that your anger is clouding your judgement.

You're missing the point. Its not the virus, or about "poisoning us", its the precedent that is being set by the government essentially forcing a new substance injected into the masses.

Any sane person would conceit that a medical decision is to be made by doctors and their patients, not mandated by the government, as every single case and patient is different.

The fact that the government is mandating this (after Biden explicitly said he wouldn't put a mandate in place the way)is extremely dangerous. If they can do this successfully, only time will tell what they'll try next.

All this for a virus with a 99% survival rate [1]. Nevermind the fact that media and government forces completely ignore natural immunity which has been shown to provide 27x more resistance to covid infection by a recent study [2].

You can't really be surprised at the general distrust and hesitancy. You can get a "Vaccine Passport" but you can't get a "Immunity Passport"?

Ridiculous

I'm in the US. The company I work for also hires remote contractors from Europe. We do basically the same thing (software development).

One guy I'm close with, and we've talked about our salaries.

I make 200k My friend in Europe makes 30k.

The difference is astounding.
