Engineers not caring is what leads to people working for scumbags who build socially poisonous technology.
You might not like it but you actually live in a world with other people and building technology often affects their lives and they have opinions on it. For AI a lot of that impact has been negative.
It has absolutely been a thing in Europe and there have been numerous accidents involving Russian and European aircraft at events like the Paris Airshow.
US military airshows make a point to use combat ready aircraft. F-22s flew over SF during fleet week.
Every company with Fedramp certification.
No, python is specifically a mess.
Harvey was always an upstart in the legal tech industry. There's other companies that have a much better understanding of the market and compliance issues but you don't hear about them because nobody wants to talk about legal tech.
I mentioned those explicitly. People are still using it as a backend language for projects like huge SaaS deployments though, with the hypothesis being that dev time is expensive. With modern languages like kotlin and go, I think that gap is much too narrow to justify using a slow and badly designed language with good syntax.
No we should write one of the many modern programming languages that handle certain projects way better, including kotlin, go, or Java. The only things python is best in class at are scripting and as a harness for high performance c++ or fortran.

He started the war!
People will blame climate policy on this but this is evidence that we've failed to move off our fossil fuel dependency.
This is a good reason to move our infrastructure further off of being dependent on a highly volatile region actually.
It's not settled law so I'm not sure how that's clear to you.
Every line of code is a liability
Got it
I'm actually starting a new project to create a gba emulator in zig, and also starting with chip8. I'm going to skip nand to tetris because I played Turing complete. Cool to see I'm on the right track!
A giant in biology. This is a real loss.
I'm not defending it I'm just explaining how badly they mismanaged it lol
Musk saddled that company with an additional billion in debt interest payments every year so they were in a cash crunch.
Meta forces employees to use personal Facebook accounts at work.
Have there been any so brazen as Musk, who used his influence to infiltrate our government and usurp the congressional power of the purse directly and illegally?
Or we'll have ecological collapse.
The Vietnam War was us violating Vietnamese sovereignty and self-determination and losing.
Go look at the amount of grants getting funded this year and tell me we aren't completely gutting the national research apparatus.
I can't eat good feelings
