It’s great to see smart new inventions being made when programmers switch to a, seemingly, extremely low-tech business. Are there more examples of programmers who made a similar leap?

It’s a fascinating space. I’m Waiting for a startup, the ‘Apple’ of mixed reality, to take a fresh approach and create something for the rest of us.

Depends on the type of person. For some it’s the only way to have a sense of control over ones own destiny. Others who lack the discipline to always be selling and pushing forward are better off sticking to their current role.
