"Scale" in this case is 1,681 precincts, each with a handful of users (the election officials). I'm not sure that was the issue in this case.

I switched to an ultrawide and i3 window manager at the same time, and it's been a game changer. I can't imagine going back to two side-by-side monitors. Being able to resize windows and not be restricted by the screen boundary is the real game changer for me.

Yeah, the publicly available flight information shows it basically exploded wholesale in mid-air. That doesn't just happen with modern aircraft.

That's exactly what this is. They're trying to avoid regulation of any kind, and "third party audits" are historically a good way to keep the federal government out of your hair for at least a measurable period of time. The financial industry learned this quickly.

I'd love to hear more about this. I've thought a lot about this space, given that the business side is what seems to trip a lot of these enterprises up. And the business is connected with trends, COGS, seasonality, etc., the same as others in the space. There just aren't targeted ways of tracking/measuring these specific to the beer industry.

Not sure why you're getting downvoted. Apparently the HN crowd is all-in on "the drugs I already enjoy/want to enjoy have scientific backing" even if they're being presented as a cure-all that should warrant skepticism. I also think that maybe looking at environmental factors for depression is common sense. Instead of drugging everyone, maybe we should take a look at how society is structured and make some changes there. It's not either-or.

I love the Keylab. I mostly got it for the keybed which is best in class for that price point. The DAW controls are a nice added bonus, but the piano feel is great.

I've got a Lite key if you want to give it a shot. I have Suite already so I won't use it.

The Push is a game changer. It really makes Ableton feel like an instrument rather than a DAW. My current setup is an 88 key MIDI controller (Arturia Keylab) with the Push sitting on top of it. For jams/playing for relaxation I don't have to look at my screen at all.

Sell the movie AND give me download options that don't amount to just a license you can revoke at any time, and then we're talking.

that summed it up for me. That's all I want. I want it to be disconnected from all other sources of content. I don't want to be interrupted with a notification saying that x website uploaded a new article or whatever.

I think this is the key. I'm not sure "forced interaction" is the answer for everyone. I work remotely and spent yesterday morning for 2 hours just chatting with some folks at a coffee shop I regularly work out of over some common interests. That filled my "meaningful interaction" bucket more than 2 or 3 days of office work in my previous office'd life. My 2 cents as well.

I think the main concern comes from the mM-wave frequencies from what I've read. The others are more of the same, but a lot of what I've seen--and I can't remember where at the moment--focused exclusively on the high frequency nodes that would (theoretically) be deployed in urban areas.
