Isn't this 'Vote with your wallet'? I know I vote with my wallet. Everything I buy is a vote for how I want the world to be, and what products I want to see flourish and prosper. I also evangelize these products to others so they get on board too, because I alone will not make much of a dent, unless I recruit others to purchase it too.
I ran a little experiment once with Reddit and registered with the Tor Browser. My first post was shadowbanned. After contacting the mods of the subreddit, they unbanned my post and it was visible to everyone. So I concluded Reddit is hostile towards Tor IPs. You have to go out of your way and contact mods to get posts visible, which people aren't going to do.
Reddit is (somewhat) pro-anonymity and doesn't even require an e-mail when signing up and they encourage you not to use your legal name, with username suggestions like SpongebobSquarepants45, but I see why they don't like Tor. Had no problems with VPNs, although VPNs are not really anonymous and we have to blindly trust them.
Interesting project. One thing I noticed: when I clicked the button, a fullscreen window got spawned, without any prompt asking me if I should enter fullscreen (Latest Firefox). On a sidenote: this could be used for browser-in-the-browser attacks[0] where someone could present a mock browser UI with a fake URL.
Other than that, it's a great project. Anything to just sit without distractions gives us an unfair advantage over the majority of the world's population who are addicted to phones.

One logical possibility would be written records of some sort, using a substrate that hasn't survived—prone to waterlogging or insects, modern paper would certainly not survive across tens of kiloyears
Sometimes impermanence is a feature, not a bug. I was always told by my elders: 'The Internet is forever'. Once you put things on it, it's hard for them to be removed. A permanent record of sorts. But over the years I've found many sites just evaporate with entire Library of Alexandria events occurring daily on the web. Yes, we have Archive.org which has mirror copies, but it doesn't catch everything.
And bit rot is useful too. After I die, I don't really want my precious data lingering around. Let it rot.
Avoid hype. Tooling might change, but stick to what works. But on the flip side if such tooling 10x's your productivity, it might be worth swapping out old methods. I call these 'game changer' tools. But they are rare enough that I can stay relevant with my current stack.
If the original image is a vector/SVG then it should look well scaled down. I think you can have SVG graphics for a favicon.

Good luck with that. I was immediately prompted for my phone number upon registering. And I know there's ways to source an anonymous phone number, I just couldn't be bothered. They shouldn't ask for it in the first place.

I answered. "my resolution is to continuously improve from the day before". Sorry if it sounded vague, but I have no 'specific' resolution other than to improve. That could be anything. Working out, writing, blogging, coding, whatever.
More weird weather because of climate change. Heatwaves aswell as extreme cold snaps, no happy medium.
In the stoic tradition, I don't compare myself to others, only compare to who I was yesterday, and if I didn't get better, then it's a hard fail. So my resolution is to continuously improve from the day before.
Not sure about open source, but there are alternatives out there:
Skip Snaps and just run the AppImage for Librewolf here[0]. I like the way Librewolf removes all the telemetry crap and hardens the browser.
X86 is a broken wheel. It's complex, and thus buggy. We can patch and mitigate all we want, but it doesn't address the underlying ugliness.

I already have FDE setup. Then as an extra measure I store notes in EncryptPad[0]. All my badly written poetry, TODOs, and hopes and dreams are in there.
I tried Linux Lite[0] in a VM, and there was an awful bug where after setting up a disk encryption password, it wouldn't decrypt when I went to login, so I just abandoned my little experiment. I really should submit a bug report about that.
I don't understand the premise of Twitter having an .onion hidden service. They're anti-anonymity, at least from my experience, where they extorted my phone number from me so I could continue to use their service. Mixing PII with Tor defeats the purpose of anonymity. You're immediately outed by providing a phone number or even en e-mail.

The thing about WFH, is once you get a taste for it, it's difficult to go back to the old ways.
I presume any large tech company will ask for my number, at least, at some stage. This is why I have a number on standby in-case that happens, and this is not my main phone number. I have a separate number for Big Tech™, and another private one for giving out to friends & family that I don't attach to any online service.
I recall Terrence McKenna (everyone's favorite historical psychonaut) saying "It's hard to do psychedelics". I agree with him. These things are dangerous when the set and setting is wrong, or if they're done at an off-kilter phase of your life, or that you simply over-indulge in them.
I appreciate the mini renaissance period they're having these days, but these things need plenty of research before trying them. They're not something you do for a giddy high, they're tools. One thing people need to do is integrate the various lessons they've gained from tripping into their daily lives.
All too often, trips are like dreams, they fade and we suffer amnesia after trying them. It's crucial to take notes and integrate the ideas you've gained, otherwise you've wasted the trip(s) IMHO.
A blockchain is just a database. Why not learn various non-blockchain related database systems instead?
