This is fantastic. Not the film, but the idea that Vimeo is funding film makers. I sincerely hope people are willing to pay for it. We've been spoiled by "Free", paying will be a tough change for some.

Yes, Reps are seeing an increasing number of emails from us alone. So much so that they are consistently calling our office. In terms of verification, currently our verification is on par with anything else they are getting from either individuals submitting letters or any other method. That is, they are verified by having entered their address which is in the reps district.

We will soon take on the task of true verification though. Which means, bouncing your registration details against a voter id database.

Just a simple but potentially powerful sales Idea for you. Most of the replies are from people who "need" to be hipaa compliant. And their arguments are sound in that scenario. However, there are many situations where projects want to be compliant but don't need to be. Technically at least. Let me give you an example. I worked at at a pharma marketing company where our clients where pharma brands. We built stuff for them, apps, sites etc. These did not always have to be hippa compliant, but the pharma legal team forced them to be anyway. The point is there is a market there for you. Essentially, your targets would be the creative agencies that build digital stuff for pharma cos.

DO you really need something to track leads or develop them in the first place, then email them and track them? I find many of my clients fall in this category when they think they need a crm. They don't - instead they really need a way to get leads and email them in the first place.

No it is not the only way to succeed. I launched a site 1 year ago for a medical publisher. They received 1st page ranking for about 800 of 3500 pages. Got about 3000 visits a month. It is not a huge number - but in this niche it was very good. And we did it only with SEO. No SEM.
