In my anecdotal experience it's competitive with MS and Amazon, at least for offers to new grads. Everything I saw was 90s to low six figures in Chicago, goes a bit higher in New York. Not sure what it's like at big banks, all my experience is with prop firms, I'd imagine it's similar though.

FWIW, my understanding is that he is just the chief security officer at Blockchain.info [1], and not one of the owners.

I think it's a bit of a stretch to include coinlab, they don't seem to ever have actually launched a US exchange.

Also, Kraken looks to be US based but don't yet allow US customers to trade USD pairs, only crypto/crypto so far.

Would also really like to see exchanges offer proper websocket/streaming API access, so far the only two who have shut down (Bitfloor, MtGox). Trying to write a proper trading algo against unreliable "REST" APIs is generally an exercise in frustration.

Put on my 5, no show stopping issues but I definitely agree on the awful battery life. Started at 90% and was at 60% 2.5 hours later with pretty light use. Doesn't seem much slower to me outside of the music app, which is really slow currently.

Have had a few issues with apps, most notably the Apple podcast app which is completely broken. Had one incident where the lock screen was totally blank other than the top bar but was fixed by a restart.
