going of a tangent but would you say it's worth going to a similarly ranked uni(oxford) if one wants to go into entrepreneurship given its more 'academic' emphasis? as opposed to somewhere like UCSD where it's not as prestigious but close to the tech scene.(bonus points for california weather ha!)

Looks great! If you could make this a PWA i'd download it for sure.

Suggestion: If you could set intervals of deep work for around 1.5 hour's too and log them that'd be pretty awesome, with breaks in between.

I have a brother who's 13 years old.

Before the pandemic, he was a pretty smart kid, around the top half of his class, with an interest in learning for the sake of learning itself. During the pandemic, classes happened online(microsoft teams) and almost all his friends were playing video games while teaching was ongoing and disconnecting if asked a question(Not chastising him here, I did this too at times ha!)

Back to school, he's been struggling with simple algebra and geometry, which should have been clear(in a normal scenario) a year ago. The desire to learn, has been replaced with other more short-term pleasures like watching yt,gaming etc. School teachers are ill-equipped to address this but thats a tangent I'll not go off right now.

My parents have hired a private tutor for math to help him address the struggles he's facing right now, because the school sure as hell wont.

On the other hand, if he's a good farmer, and the farm produces well, and he doesn't over-extend his risk on what he's committing to, he now has a fixed price contract for his goods, which isn't going to fluctuate based on time (assuming the contract is honoured - if he's worried about that, Jeremy could then buy insurance on the risk of a default on the contract

So basically a third party would step in to assure him that he'd be paid the fixed price for a small fee? Are there no repercussions if the contract isnt honored?

right no I guess thats not what I meant to say, rather that I expected any learning material from Jane Street(which has some really rigorous interviews) to give a better heads-up to the type of thinking thats required to do well in those interviews.

Honestly I expected it to go over far more advanced topics than these, most of these are covered in the last year of high school over here.

Here's the definition of Hindutva according to the Supreme Court, if anyone's curious

“Hindutva is understood as a way of life of state of mind and is not to be equated with or understood as religious Hindu fundamentalism…it is a fallacy and error of law to proceed on the assumption…that the use of words Hindutva or Hinduism per se depicts an attitude hostile to all persons practicing any religion other than the Hindu religion.”
