Hope to provide some alternate opinions besides the linux/mac programmer crowd in here
Vivaldi is great I love the vertical tabs and the F2 menu but it's still so dog slow.
They do but they dont know.
See new Netflix show Ripley.
All shot in B&W, beautifully shot.
I have found Firefox is the only browser to correctly block Autoplay.
I block all then manual whitelist for domains like Youtube.
Edge, Brave, Chrome seems to work sometimes, or worse, only lets me block audio and not video.
Chrome does not.
But we can install alternatives that are better.
Firefox on Android :)
Brave works if you just want adblock and youtube playback even on iOS!
Then there are the offshoots like Kiwi browser that has the Chrome extension store!
Even Samsung and Edge on Android atleast has Adblock plus that can be enabled but obviously not as good as ublock origin on Firefox.
No but its nice
We have cheap daycare, maternity leave etc etc here in Sweden but having some another dropoff for the kids is still nice for parents
Its more I work 8h and I am exhausted and sit on youtube for 5h until bedtime and repeat thats my life
Its bad. Ofc course its bad to have a smaller support network.
Its sad and a crisis. However I have money saved and a comfy job. Yet I am exhausted. Domapnied burned out mess adhd riddled anxiety kissless virgin
ah okay thats not a thing here in Sweden.
So its not cycling then its a stray dog thing :)
You have stray dogs where you live or what? Cant say cycling has affected my views on dogs.
I am in Sweden summer is max 30C here... so not really an issue... for now...
Yes and I am allowed to post, thank you
Do you have experience with modern high watagae CPU during summer?
i7 4790k w noctua cooler is fine :)
None of those are a problem on a desktop PC only on shitty laptops.
Normal people dont know what perf per watt means dont be like that
I am in a western country with good power. Again why would I care?
Noctua coolers and fans m8
kid 2017
fucking hell
Yea but thats how you learn.
These ipad kids dont know anything because it all works now for games and netflix. No need for drivers, windows installs etc
In a way it makes it harder to then learn further on later, something required in IT.
I studied IT in Sweden and all the course material is in English. MS books, Linux books, Cisco CCNA books etc.
I imagine, as I can't compare, that this makes it easier to learn further in IT, and participate in communities such as this.
Lots of enterprise apps like ERP and that type of shit may STILL require Silverlight for older versions. It was huge in that market.
Android phones are great now. Come home devs. <3
This story is particularly awful as it perpetuates the stereotype of the "IT guy" being a weird ass nerdy spiteful nerd.
You can sell Reddit accounts.
Also points go up feels good.
This is a fake story. Yes you can access computers through an RMM unnoticed. But you would not be able to change Excel and Outlook without the user noticing.
If he had RMM access, the IT guy could do other fun things.
How was he "accessing the system"?
needs to be an always online web-app
Its not. If you buy the desktop apps in the subscription, you get winword.exe.
Microsoft 365 includes the robust Office desktop apps that you’re familiar with, like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

I am aware and it is awful. I do hope intelligent movies like Oppenheimer continue to be made.
