Yup, I too use Phind sometimes, and it's amazing. Plus if I want to chat with approximately any model known to man, there's chat.lmsys.org and labs.perplexity.ai. Ain't no one who tried it when it was new and hyped and was told that they couldn't use it since they weren't using Edge setting reminders to go back occasionally and check whether Microsoft has finally pulled their head out of their ass, it just instantly ceased to exist for them.
I remember going to check it out, and them refusing to let me try it unless I used Edge and/or a Bing account (don't remember exactly and don't care). And that's how they blew their one shot to get me and hordes of others to give a flying fuck about it.

This cannot be repeated enough. It’s harmful to almost everyone to allow sideloading on iPhone. Power without the knowledge to use it responsibly results in actual real world harm. This may sound paternalistic but it’s what it is. I’m all in for a developer mode with a knowledge/competency check, choke full of warnings, make the user wait x days before it is enabled, whatever. But don’t allow it, not in a way a scammer could tell my grandma “oh yes we need to use that feature behind the warning to refund the funds to your bank account, now please tap accept…”

You can have faith or lack thereof in whatever you want, but I would like you to provide one single example in history where the President decided to give the military unconstitutional orders (as in legally acknowledged at the time to be unconstitutional, not "I don't like it so it's unconstitutional") and the US military sided with him instead of the Constitution.
To counter this polemic comment with a more serious one: the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq after the 9/11 attacks was a central watershed moment in history that lead to a massive shift in the public opinion concerning the US military politics in many countries (and has stayed quite critical of it since then) - including lots of allies of the USA.
Nice try, but no. Iraq was bullshit, and even we protested it ourselves, but Afghanistan had the support of basically the entire world. Many of those allies you claim don't value our military anymore pee themselves a little at the thought of being left to fend for themselves by us leaving NATO and ceasing to massively subsidize their defense (e.g., the wailing and gnashing when Donald Trump was threatening to take us out of NATO).
Then you will be pleased to learn that the US military takes an oath to the Constitution, not to whoever happens to be the current President. Exactly because the dangers of assholes assuming the Presidency isn't some kind of genius insight that you're the first person to ever consider.

Same here. A few years ago I rented a local Tesla on Turo for a day trip that was several hours away, but since I just needed to drop it off "whenever" (by the next morning), I could find somewhere to charge it at my leisure. Then this fall I flew somewhere and was asked by the car rental company whether I wanted an electric car instead of the one I had reserved. With a return flight to catch under possibly tight time constraints and no idea where I would charge the car or how long it would take (both right before return and just driving around; I was going a long distance to a pretty rural area), I declined that sweet sweet offer in favor of a car I could fill up anywhere in under five minutes. If car rental companies actually want to rent electric cars, they would be wise to say you don't have to worry about recharging them, they'll do it themselves either at no extra cost or at whatever the cost would be if you did it yourself (not the "we'll refuel it for you at the low low price of $15/gallon!" that they offer for gas cars).
At least they called you. I traveled a lot this last fall and pretty much always reserved a hybrid with Avis because I was going to drive long distances. What I actually got at the counter most of the time was "let me see if we have any hybrids available" followed by receiving some random car that was not, in fact, a hybrid (and often as far as you can get from a fuel-efficient hybrid, a regular gas SUV).
My Wi-Fi has already been working just fine for a long, long time, new developments there are irrelevant to approximately everybody. Recent developments in AI, not so much.
