This is true 5G. Not the fake ATT 5G. I saw neowin.net taking a stance against fakes by labelling ATT 5G as "fake 5G" clearly in their title. I hope we all do the same until ATT & co stop misleading their customers leading to eventual confusion for everyone.

Current version could be 1.1.42.0 and the "eopch" could be 1.2.3.9? Maybe breaking could be 2.0.0.0? I'd much rather see a unification around semver then create a different identifier called epoch only to stay radically faithful to a definition of semver

Powershell?

Powershell made me actually switch to Windows. I was playing with WSL when it came out and learn of Powershell. WSL has some warts but Powershell means I cannot use Linux anymore :(

I'm hoping Powershell on Linux will soon be at par with the Windows counterpart (right now it's pretty buggy)

That probably may have been it. I was using it inside a separate branch but didn't like the workflow where i'd commit after every change. I don't want to commit unless I'm trying to make a backup.

I'm going to go the off-repo route now.

It's not webfonts, I'm okay when a website is using a custom font to show me. It's fonts they assume I have on my local computer. They say "deja vu sans", "sans-serif" when I don't want them naming "deja vu sans" specifically.

Monorepo is harder to get right initially, and you have to think things through. But once you do, you're set for it. I love that there is so little code duplication.

Yeah I just downloaded. This seems like a good native drop-in replacement. Even the menus et all seem to be in the same place.

I have a really old computer and keepass2 opens stuff instantly so I'm guessing I'm probably not using good enough security.

I'll answer part of my own question- this does look like it's compatible with the Keepass protocol 2. So that shouldn't be the reason to stop.

Of course there could be other reasons.

As someone using Keepass2 (mono on Linux), can someone knowledgeable briefly tell me (and probably others) why should and why should not I switch to KeePassX?

I'm getting the feeling that this uses the older protocol?
