Electric or non electric does not matter.

And why would you put "unsafe" into quotes? Person who falls from unicycle is heavy, and can injure themselfs or another person.

It would be nice to include some context, like was driver on road or pedestrian walkway, were they wearing a helmet, how fast and safely they were driving...

Unicycling is nothing extraordinary that would deserve prize, pizza delivery guys do that all the time. I live in busy tourist city and I am very tired of inconsiderate unicycling drivers!

Different reaction from men can be explained in what would follow in case of crash. Men get far less help when injured. And if driver gets injured, men are expected to step up and provide help!

I don't have vulnerability ids.

What made me disable it was some issue in Linux network stack, with ipv6 broadcast, on by default, exploitable to root execution.

For me it is yet another complex service that I do not need, and that should not be exposed to network. Ipv4 network stack code is far smaller, simpler and way more tested over decades!

Another irony is Capek did not really liked R.U.R. He was great author and journalist, read his War with the Newts (1936). RUR was his early theater game, it is a bit silly and has big plot holes.. Yet somehow it is his most known work.

when you look at those taped-up batteries, you see that they are refurbished

EV cars and buses will be like that in couple of years. Look how old busted Toyotas are maintained. Look how MTA maintains subway network, some parts are literally 70 years old!

If you are tired of Canada, try Wroclav in April for a month, slavic mentality may not be for everyone. There is yt channel "offshore citizen", international tax accountant from Canada, pretty good info.

introduction of a 2% wealth tax on people with more than $10m

Super rich billionaires at this level control goverment spending. They can also hide their assets around the globe.

So this seems like a great way for billionaires to increase their wealth, at expense of "upper middle class" who can not do this. (honestly $10m is not that much)

"I could live here".

Winters are brutal and quite depressing. All sorts of blood leaching insects in summer. Some people have alergies to clouds of pollen... And Russian administration was challenging even before the war.

I am nomad, it is part of my rotation. Very nice place for couple of weeks at right time of year. (not Magnitogorsk specifically)

Your post was about solar panels INTEGRATED into cars roof. 100W is about what you can reliably pull from non-angled panel of that size on camper van. Sometimes it is more, usually far less. There is no way it can give 600 Watts to even START charging!

Article is irrelevant here (different panels). Also it is a total garbage, and a good way to kill someone. Tesla S roof is certified for 165 pounds load, so it won't be even covered by insurance!

As for throwaway account, I am tired of death threats!

Magnitogorsk has nice weather in summer. Some green parks, decent public transport. But not that much fun, westerners usually prefer university cities. It has very nice surrounding nature.

Polution is ok I guess (India and China were far worse from my experience). It is not industrial shithole as OP suggests. Factories were cleaned up over 30 years. And smoke stack are quite high and leave smoke in high atmosphere. And most of them use natural gas anyway...

There is 2.5 hours walk through on youtube: "Magnitogorsk, Russia. Metallurgic Capital and Steel Heart of Russia. Ural Trip 1".

Net effect is negative even without weight!

Tesla are 2 tons monsters that charge at 100 000 Watts. 100 Watts produced by integrated panels like this, are most likely not even enough to power up battery controller!

If you charge Tesla from normal house plug in cold, 2KW are not enough to heat up battery pack. So car has to use energy from batteries for heating! So "charging" will actually reduce energy!

Small solar panels are great for fixing parasitic battery drain on vehicles though!

You can visit Kyiv.

Regiojet.com has daily trains from Krakow to Kyiv, with guaranteed connection at UA border. It takes about 14 hours and 50 euro. Or dozens buses every day, but you will have to wait for several hours at border (train skips queue).

Go and spend summer in Russia, it is the perfect antidote. St. Petersburg is amazingly beautiful! Museums, architecture, cultural performances, no morbidly obese people on streets, no graffiti, even metro is nice!

Do you know anything about usability? And relative cultural meanings?

About 1.5 billion people drive on left (India, UK, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia....). Road sign "to the left" has VERY important meaning for big part of globe. Some people travel a lot and change left/right driving a few times every month..

But perhaps Beyonce songs and American pop culture, should be part of driving exams globally! So everyone can parse your "funny" jokes.

I am immigrant, and I like "stupid" simple messages. Renting car, driving car in strange environment, dealing with speed limits, road signs in foreign language, new weather like snow... It is all already pretty stressful.

I really do not care about your stupid local humor while driving. I do not follow TV or pop music. I do not get the "references". The same way you would not get Chinese humour.

"To the left, to the left / Passing only in the lane to the left."

I would probably read only the first part, and assume right lane is closed. Or even worse, I would be like "oh shit they drive like in UK"!!!!
