We in the US should thank our lucky stars that massive and endemic corruption which is rampant overseas is not present here in the United States. I have long since lost the idea that the rest of the world will ever modernize and institute the rule of law.
Some men are joining the MGTOW movement. I’m sure that has some effect.

I don’t know. It might be better if Apple controls the repair process. The reason is that my iPhone 11 stores a great deal of information including my Apple Card. I don’t want any of that info getting out into the wild. In addition, the latest cellphones are very complex. The latest iPhone used a 3D circuit board! Who has knowledge and skill to work on that? Look I’m all for people trying to make a living repairing stuff but the cellphone might be an item that falls outside the mean.
Yep Tesla is committing an unforced error. Yanking shit from a purchased car is uncool. Since somebody payed for that feature, it has value. Tesla should have cut a check to the present owner for the value of the feature that was being removed. Bad move Tesla.
Focus! Get MCAS squared away and get the plane back in the air. Reading some of these comments here makes me glad that none of us are in charge at Boeing. The comments are unbelievably naive or have huge gaps in business logic or lack technical rigor.
Thankfully none of us on this forum are in charge at Boeing. We would certainly do the wrong thing in response to the MCAS debacle. An observation is that the overall environment is relatively healthy but we must never let the MCAS incident be repeated. Identify why MCAS was so poorly coded and how it passed QC and I think you’ve solved the most pressing issue.
I must warn the young man that girls are far more difficult to fathom than any math equation.
