For example, up to 12 months of salary in Spain (with 20 days of salary for each year at the company), if a layoff meets certain conditions (that are usually met). Up to 24 months (with 33 days per year) if the conditions are not met.
So I guess we can agree that emulation of current hardware and games that can run on current console hardware is not piracy by itself.
How can it be piracy if I own the game I'm emulating?
Can't wait to have Firefox + uBlock Origin on iPads.
I have no issues with the Elgato Cam Link 4K on my setup: M1 Pro <-> Dell WD19TB <-> Cam Link <-> Sony camera.
The dock is also connected to a 1440p@240 monitor and a 1080p@60 monitor, so the capture card is not the only device taking bandwith from the USB bus.
EDIT: Now that I remember, sometimes the cam link gets very hot and freezes, not only with my M1 but also with a Dell laptop running linux. Maybe your problem is related to running the capture card at high temperatures.
That graph from the verge can’t be right. There is no way you get more FPS at 4K than at 1080p on Shadow of the Tomb Raider while keeping all the other settings the same.
I have a Dell WD19TB too and it works great with the MacBook Pro M1 Pro. I have 2 monitors connected (a 1440p@240Hz and a 1080p@60Hz), keyboard, mouse, a Elgato video capture card and ethernet. The 1080p monitor gave some trouble though, I had to connect it to the usb-c port on the dock that supports daisy chaining.
The dock also works out of the box with the iPad Pro M1 (with some caveats, only the 1440p monitor outputs video, didn't try to use the Elgato card) and with my Dell Latitude running Ubuntu.
Just by enabling PBO my 5950x goes automatically to 4.2-4.3 GHz all-core and 4.8-5.0 GHz single-core.
I'm using pihole and blocking Google DNS and yet my tv was showing that awful banner. I think google serves the ads using some not-only-ads domain.
The Android TV Launcher is this one app, with an even worse score: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.and...
Only 75000 years ago, but maybe the Toba eruption? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toba_catastrophe_theory#Geneti...
The A14 is basically a M1 with less CPU and GPU cores, so I guess most of the work done for supporting the M1 on Linux could be reused for the A14.
I have a MBP13 from late 2013 connected to 2 1080p-monitors. One using a thunderbolt-hdmi cable and the other a thunderbolt-dvi cable. No thermal throttling or any other issues at all.
Windows 7 to Windows 10 also have vulkan support.
You can use vulkan on Mac and iOS using MoltenVK.
Is this LIDAR different from the laser auto focus feature some sony camera sensors have?
I have the WH-1000XM2 and the location permission is optional if you want the app to change noise cancelling profiles according to what you are doing (walking, running, on the bus). The ear scanner is another optional thing you can do to improve the 360 audio which only works on a few apps.
Chromecast uses Google DNS servers ignoring your DHCP DNS. You need to block Google DNS servers on your router so then the Chromecast will switch to your DHCP DNS.
Also, on my experience, some Youtube ads are served through the same domain that serves the video so you won't be completely ad free.
Wow, the legal disclaimer at the end is as long as the whole entry.
I made a bot that sent me alerts whenever La Resistencia, a Spanish TV show, had tickets available to be in the audience. It is a very popular show and tickets are usually available in their web for less than 5 minutes. I even made an app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.teledhil.la... It no longer works because they added a recaptcha.
I also have a chat bot based on megahal, a bot that downloads subtitles for my torrent videos. At work I made a bot connected to slack that alerted of some server issues.
If you don't care about persistent logs, you can mount the /var/log directory on tmpfs. For example, add to your /etc/fstab:
tmpfs /var/log tmpfs nosuid,nodev 0 0
Damn you, EA, I liked Mass Effect 1 so much.
