Tried it today. Works fine for navigation. I am missing live traffic info. This is the one thing keeping me in Google Maps the past years.

RDW said the EU sets stricter requirements for safety during vehicle approvals than the U.S. "This means that the FSD Supervised version in the U.S. is NOT comparable to the FSD Supervised version in the EU," it said, without providing further details.

The Netherlands has one of the highest road safety standards in the world. More info on differences between USA and NL on the site of RDW (Dutch)

My 75" Samsung The Frame (2024) uses 70w in 'art mode'. It has a motion sensor and you can configure to fully switch off after some timeout.

I see a lot of blocked requests in my OPNsense firewall (not sure what exactly) but I see that with almost all 'smart' devices (which I like to keep local).

"CIC Digital LLC, an affiliate of The Trump Organization, and Fight Fight Fight LLC collectively own 80% of the Trump Cards, subject to a 3-year unlocking schedule. CIC Digital LLC and Celebration Cards LLC, the owners of Fight Fight Fight LLC, will receive trading revenue derived from trading activities of Trump Meme Cards"

Gitlab Duo 2 years ago

I run a self hosted Gitlab CE instance for many years now and I am very happy with it. I also experiment a lot with local LLMs. Will there be a CE release which allows for usage combined with a locally running LLM in the future?

This is sad.

I use Google Podcasts because of its simple UI. I am subscribed to a few creators and the clean UX "just works", also on Android Auto as I listen to most podcasts on the road.

Hope at least they integrate the podcast functionality well into Youtube Music without bloating the Android Auto functionality too much...

As someone who runs 10+ hetzner servers for 3+ years now in both Finland and Germany region, I indeed get what I pay for.

Stellar performance, stable servers with specs as advertised and very good pricing and connectivity.

At the moment of writing the cost estimate for 70B multimodal model with 7T tokens on 1000 H100 GPUs is $18,461,354 with 184 days of training time.

Anyone willing to share an estimate how cost will come down each year as hardware keeps improving and possible new methodologies are found?

Personally I would not be surprised if it is possible to train the same dataset for half the cost 12 months from now.

Hi, kind of hijacking this conversation but as Cloudflare is unfortunately routing the majority of websites I visit I have to ask this:

Can you guarantee my Firefox browser will keep on working on 'the open internet' now Chrome moves towards "Web Environment Integrity" and Safari towards "Private Access Tokens" and Cloudflare is supporting and implementing such technologies on scale?

I intent to not participate in these DRM APIs with my Firefox browser and would like to keep browsing the internet.
