Huh? This approach makes sense for non-deterministic problems. Not engineering problems that have deterministic end results.

Every single one.
How is that working out?
https://trueprospect.ai - in previous projects had tons of issues with junk sign ups (b2b). This looks to solve that.
Interesting idea. I've definitely felt this pain on several occasions. Somewhat ironic, but I think the hardest part of pulling this off is getting a founder to stay focused/continuously reach for such a tool (e.g. know when to ask for help).

This does not belong on hacker news
AIPAC is dwarfed in comparison to some other countries in terms of wielding influence. Just look at how much Qatar has spent trying to influence the top universities in the world.
Could very well just be about Slootman retiring. He is considered one of the most savvy and aggressive tech ceos out there and is arguably impossible to truly replace.
Does Hamas have to adhere to an ICJ ordered ceasefire?
There have been a few attempts to keep up with the Cambrian explosion new AI products – most are littered with dead landing pages, fake reviews, and excessive ads.
My team and I have spent a lot of time curating a product list of tools that actually work, are still live, and worth using.
Our goal is to become a trusted review site where reviews are heavily moderated to reduce spam/fakes.
In the coming weeks/months we will be launching an RSS feed of top research papers and open source to cover the true bleeding edge of what is changing.

One thing I see being discussed is how high rates will reduce competition for homes (therefore lower prices). This isn't necessarily true for 2 reasons: 1) High rates mean higher finance rates for development/redevelopment projects, forcing new inventory to be priced higher to be viable 2) Owners with locked in rates (most homeowners) have little incentive to trade up, and more likely to trade down (increased competition for starter/smaller homes). Variable rate mortgages are a fraction of the mortgage market they used to be - this isn't 2008.
The only real solutions here are to radically rethink zoning at a city level, and potentially incentivize construction of affordable homes at a federal level through new lending programs.
This is somewhat helpful, however it doesn't get past the main concern of rollbacks/deploy approvals.
We already use CI to build and prep the versions each time we go out to production, but if we miss anything in QA we are up a creek without a paddle.
Wait until you find out how wirecutter makes money...
I am not by any means calling it an absolute. But the data points tilt in favor of working through the pain and difficulties instead of throwing in the towel at the slightest speed bump.
This was written by a VC who has no track record as an operator or founder.
The only consistent advice I have ever gotten from the most financially successful people I know (many worth >$100MM) has been to never give up. Some of them took decades to get to even moderate success.
The last decade has been an illusion of how quickly you can get rich starting a company. It can take years to see payoff and it is not always obvious.
If you want the job you should do the interview.
If you don't want the job, don't do the interview.
So my thinking is the origin story of the sub is definitely organic. However, it is an easy win for a bad actor to push the narrative that a handful of loud voices are shouting about for their own interests.
Off topic, but my tin foil hat theory of r/antiwork is that this a massive psy-op being pushed by some other nation state. Reddits algo easily helps snowball and propagate ideas that are promoted by users within the sub. It is the perfect playbook to destabilize labor markets in a foreign country.
I would say it needs to be realigned to only allow productive companies to hold/protect patents.
This may be the case in very small companies. But in large orgs with complex projects and dozens/hundreds of stakeholders a great manager makes way more of an impact than any IC.
Slightly off topic but I am always surprised Shopify hasn't every created something akin to the amazon homepage that allows you to browse and find items at shopify stores more seamlessly.
Interesting you avoided calling them basecamp given the recent media fallout. Not saying you did it intentionally, but just rare anyone refers to them as 37Signals much anymore.

Using these legal filing/documentation in-a-box services never is as smooth as they advertise. 99/100 you will still need a lawyer and likely will incur more confusion/time/cost as a result of using boilerplate documents for a ton of stuff.

They will easily raise more money via debt or equity financing. There is no way they just collapse into bankruptcy.
This article seems to dismiss how deep and liquid capital markets are today and easy it is to raise capital with even a sniff of cash flow..
I really doubt battery usage is the #1 thing users care about...I'd imagine users care about intuitiveness, usability, value way before worrying an app kills their batter 3% faster than other apps...
