Why isn't Mr. Stephenson writing the script? Doesn't even look like he cares,...which makes me wonder if I should.

On another note, Ender's Game is coming out and Orson Scott Card fought hard to get the right actors and write the script. Oh how I can't wait for this....

I personally struggle when writing. However, when I write something important, I make sure to have someone proof read it. The message shouldn't be lost by simple grammar errors. And so,...I would say its a intelligence problem.

I honestly think this is the best piece of rhetoric to keep our old system in place.

The system is awful, but its the best we got. I'd prefer if we brought back our philosophers and started to have large debates on the writing of new law.

We are to afraid to change our old old system. Depressing.

Then I organize them by number of times connected to your computer. It reveals some really weird sites. Like somehow pandora knows my age and sex....

Stripe, recently saved me. I am still fighting with my merchant processor *First Data who is awful. I talked to Stripe via Sean Harper with FeeFighters and I was up and rolling in 20 minutes. Yes, Jaw drop fast. Most payment processors require at least two weeks to be setup. Their UI/UX is beautiful and simple. When I need help I get it immediately. I love this company. :)

The simple truth about procrastination is that it happens because you delay your happiness. The act that you are procrastinating or putting off is motivated by a risk of your final reward.

Paying for SMS is awful. Just out of curiosity how would you suggest we don't, "just bend over and take it?"

One small request. On iphone signup, don't have the password field in visible text.

I love building stuff. Its one of those guilty pleasures that consume my weekends. The truth about fun projects is that you can waste your life away working on them. I would recommend that you really think about this idea more. Maybe you could see yourself doing this for much longer than a weekend? Why not?

I could careless about money. I'm actually horrible with it. I build things and break a lot of stuff. One thing I have become obsessed about is reaching my goals. Not sure if i'm the only one, but I am terrified of myself. For example, has anyone set a goal in the beginning of the year and then on December 31 reviewed how far they got? A new years resolution? I have gotten very serious about my routines and where they take me. I have been surprised by how hard it is to keep a goal in sight and develop routines that help me reach it. But, so far, my new routine has become my happiness. I wish for all of you the same.

I have dreamt about this for years. I want to rent out a big warehouse and get a bunch of artists and programmers together to create/play a game like this. And then everyone just watches (like a movie) at the end.

I would WAY rather do this than go to a movie or play videogames. I mean think of all the programming you would learn and get good at. After playing video games I just feel tired and my fingers hurt.

Let me know if anyone wants to help me organize something like this.

I completely agree with you. However, I don't think this is a invention directly out of necessity. Instead, I would say closed systems with a controlled goal might be the fertilizer for a better design.

Its amazing that Apple has caused innovation by banning flash. I wonder if this is sustainable, maybe an example of innovation?

I always wonder why more millionaires aren't building the next iphone or a new operating system. Maybe playing with AI theories.

I mean, am I the only hacker who dreams of being a mad scientist, where I can have teams of people working on all the many new idea's I have. I'm frankly pissed, I want my hoverboard. :)

Should be easy for Twitter to put a limit on the number of ads that will be inserted during a period of time. Like build it into their API. API ads.

Kinda lame though. They could have just made it part of their TOS. Only X number of ads can be shown after X tweets.

Twitter must have $$ in the eyes.

But the key point is having some other objects in the picture that will give you the perspective change.

I keep wondering what they could have become if they didn't get bought.

Actually we only work in the US right now. We were using clickatell but they are going through a huge audit right now. As soon as clickatell gets their act together we will support other countries. Shoot us a email and I will let you know when we have it working again.
