I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the switch syntax. It looks neither like C nor Python.

One thing I hate is the pesky .DS_Store on Mac. No matter how many times I ignore it, it just wants to be a part of my commit.

Well, I guess this answers that (and maybe more).

But to give my personal perspective, I’m not sure what Peterson’s motives are. He has stated that he used to have severe clinical depression, which might help contextualize some of his more “grim” lectures/videos. (He and his daughter are able to mitigate their depression by having a carnivore diet. Strange, but it seems to work for them.)

I really love the syntax, especially the dereference operator being the @ symbol and the usage of val vs var for constants/variables. (For context, I started off with Java and prefer writing in Kotlin nowadays.) Compared to languages like Zig or V, I think you strike a pretty good balance between being familiar and introducing new/different syntax.

Student here, with a question. How does one maintain a 10,000 line source file?

I mean Elsa and and PCC are cool, but who actually uses them? Clang and GCC are pretty much all there is, but regardless it’s nice to know what people have tried/are trying to do. These bullet points in particular make me want to tinker with PCC and see how much it is (and is not) capable of:

The PCC source base is very small and builds quickly with just a C compiler.

PCC doesn't support Objective-C or C++ and doesn't aim to support C++.

I’m on mobile and when my finger touches the screen, the page zooms out, and when I let go, it zooms back in—but off center. Anyone else experiencing this?

Edit: It seems this can be fixed by manually zooming out to 85%, but I still don’t know why this is an issue in the first place
