I think the era of the blog is simply dead now

The era of people caring about knowledge/learning seems to be dead. At least in the way we used to, because a lot of what we needed that for can now be done by the LLMs.

It wont be implementing current tech using AI for sure. Everyone and their mothers will be using AI at OS or browser level. For example, What if users block ads using AI? Companies will have figure out a way to stay ahead and continue to serve ads.

That might just be how it will turn out, but not because it's Google's strategy. They are just too big to fail.

I am starting to think that expressing thoughts in words clearly is probably the most important and general skill of the future.

I did graphic and motion design for 20+ years and been doing full stack dev for the last 6. It's very difficult to do both and excel at - especially in the frontend space where things move incredibly fast. As you try to excel at one, you'll feel left behind in the other. Very stressful.

My prediction for every creator tool will be 30% deterministic software and the rest 70 is a long system prompt. This is the future.

Just curious, what $ would you have considered worth it for the output you actually got?

I've been building a similar tool since Tuesday with CC and got very far, More thought out features and interface then this. Applications have no moat, when you can build it in a week.

Really hope Anthropic didn't notice my ingenious work and quickly copy it.

The bars have solid fill for Mythos and cross shaded for Opus 4.6. Makes the difference feel more than it actually is.

Some of the engineers working on the app worked on Electron back in the day, so preferred building non-natively

The cell layers constraint led to better art. The detail in the background was minimal and the artists world compensate for it by interesting framing and lighting. Go back and watch one fish two fish or the black widower episodes from early seasons - just incredible animation.

You can see the number of lines drawn go up like crazy around season 10 or so, making it feel less realistic. Coincidentally, the writing also started to get worse around this time.
