About the dogs, from what I've seen the social media presence for these US gravel pros are a much bigger part of their income compared to pros in the European road racing circuit. Being a privateer is advantageous if you are a "top social" rider. This is probably comparable to what has happened in College sports where the top college athlete influencers are pulling in huge amount of eyeballs and income from their social media.

I assume countries in the EU will no longer eschew longer gas contracts in favor of the spot market. The contracts have always been available and you might not have much faith in Russia any more but Europes second largest gas provider, Norway is still here. It's only a matter of making the choice.

It could be refreshing tokens before every API request in an attempt to avoid 1. API request, 2. 401. 3. refresh token 4. redo request? Not that that makes any sense, msal.js will refresh cached tokens before they time out.

This type of bridge is (was for me) an effective way to get over fear of heights. I went on multiple long treks in Nepal in 2019 and you don't have a choice in crossing bridges like this, other than turning around and canceling your trip. The first bridges was absolutely horrible and at the end of the trip the bridges (or other more unsafe places, like narrow trails with big drops) didn't bother me at all.
