I find tracking movies and series I have watched with my partner an impossible task. Spreadsheets are too fiddly for my partner, and I want to look up what is next on my phone so I have turned to Airtable and n8n for automation.

input a relevant url, it will decide if it IMDB or Youtube or a list. using an llm, it will attempt to extract the movies or series from the list and find the relevant IMDB link.

Then I have a masonry view of movies & series I have and have not watched, sortable by tags that I can rate and add notes to.

I was told earlier this week by an organization

We leave this role posted because it's so critical to our operation and onboard as demand requires, however at this time we don't have enough demand to justify another full time hire.

if you start a Notion variation, let me know. I would love something like notion but offline and secure.

I've searched for months (project manager LFG)

Job seekers are facing a broken, emergent system.

The combination of fake listings, ghosting, and generic emails that provide no feedback seems almost designed to hold them back. There are a few tricks to learn, but without insider knowledge, they may remain undiscovered.

I spend over 20 hours a week searching, tailoring my resume, and submitting applications, only to receive minimal responses. This is demoralizing, not to mention the stress from diminished income.

The service has gone completely down hill for me the last few months. The app is the buggiest it has ever been. I've been overcharged more time than I can count, and customer service is practically impossible to actually get in touch with.

Welcome to the future!

Yes. Some experiences need friction. For example I do not automate any bills. Each of them are paid manually (with a few exceptions like subscription services)

I want to see, feel, know and understand what is happening behind the curtain when it comes to my hard earned assets.

When did we stop being critical of technology and innovation?

Just because we can do something doesn’t mean we should...

It's like we have opened Pandora's box allowing technology (with poor security) into our homes.

Devices controlled and maintained by companies with questionable ethics who only care about the stock holder.
