There is. You get to write it yourself; you get to be your own master/leader.

Critical thinking skills are the most essential tools, so is studying philosophy. You have agency, use it.

Of course you could always abdicate your agency to religion (pick one), or politicians, or influencers, or money/consumerism.

No matter how you dice it, the choice is always yours, and yours only,

When trying to access via the app or webapp I get the message: "We're improving your experience. Please log in later".

But I have received no emails regarding an upgrade or something to that effect, and their status site says: Our deliverables will be deployed during second weekend of every month. It may cause some latency in APIs during the deployment window.

No signs on x either: https://x.com/EmpowerToday

Something does not add up.

1) There are at least a couple YCcombinator startup that does collections: Domu and Respaid.

2) There was a time in a prior life when I did consulting, and of course I experienced the same issue. I re-wrote my contract to get paid in advance each and every week (seldom every month). If I had no payment in my bank, no work that week. Easy, simple, the client was always in control.

Must watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEa6PdOG2ts

I was also recently permanently banned by Reddit, the only reason why I can think of is because:

1. periodically like every 3-4 months I would be running a script to delete any and all posts and comments. Also every 1-2 years I would delete my account(s), and start brand-new with new accounts (to avoid doxxing).

2. I had 3 alt accounts, one for professional reasons (AI, coding, etc), one for local interests (NYC), and one for fun/shitposting. All three linked to the same email address.

3. I did not violate any rules (except for running a script), I did not upvoted/downvoted each other's posts or upvoted/downvoted the same post from different accounts, each accounts followed different subs.

IMO Reddit is cleaning up house and surely didn't like my deleting my history.

C'est la vie!

Hacker News – AI 10 months ago

Very cool. A couple of weeks ago I vibe-coded something similar that works for a while and now it's broken.

Could you please add:

* Search for: past 24h / Past Week / Past month

* Sort by: Newest->Oldest / Oldest->Newest

* Results per page: 20 / 30 / 50 / 100

I'd be so grateful

What do you think about anonymous publishing in 2025?

Craigslist's Rants & Raves started that in 1996 (almost 30 years ago), Reddit started in 2005 (about 20 years ago).

Would love feedback from the HN community.

What unserved or underserved needs does this address?

IMO it sounds like a solution looking for a problem.

Read this book: The Lean Startup.

Anyway, good luck to you.
