Translating pitch to a playable guitar tab would even more difficult than the pitch detection. Unlike the piano, the same note can be played in multiple places on the guitar neck. Auto-generating guitar tablature would require not only pitch detection, but some kind of logic that would pick the most appropriate string/fret depending on the surrounding notes/chords.

The sense of entitlement in the last few Olympics related posts is really getting obnoxious. Granted the article here makes a good point about it being silly to live tweet an event that is not being broadcast. But, everyone commenting seems to think watching the Olympics for free is a god given right.

I am excited that, unlike the NFL, MLB, and other professional sporting events, the live-streaming capability provided to NBC subscribers is actually quite thorough and high quality.

As for my thoughts on removing old content, I get a kick out of going back through the websites I used to frequent and reading things I wrote. The pack-rat in me would prefer to always have access to my past work. But, I do understand the logic in wanting to keep all of the content fresh. Maybe you could remove it but provide an option to have an old piece salvaged for a small fee?

I have been trying extremely hard to give Carreon the benefit of the doubt and understand his reasoning. I am beginning to wonder if he perhaps has a touch Asbergers syndrome, or something of the sorts.

In reading his remarks, he is obviously thoughtful, well read, and genuinely believes himself. But, there seems to be a stark contrast between what is going on in his head and the "real" world. Regardless, this is the online equivalent to trashy reality T.V. and I can not seem to tear my attention away.

Yes. I flirted with the idea of an online community with a half life. For example, every 6 months the URL would completely change and only the top 1% of members would be notified of the new location. It would be in their hands to repopulate the community.

I haven't figured out how to determine the top 1% but this was more a pipe dream a than serious potential project. Anyone is free to take the idea and run with it.

Yup, I use it an love it. Despite the similarity Tap2Tab serves a totally different purpose. I mentioned it above but Tap2Tab works on Videos, Netflix, Youtube, Google Maps, ect. It doesn't alter the content at all, it just redirects you to the page.
