It's a change in mindset. AI is like having your own junior developer. If you've never had direct reports before where you have to give them detailed instruction and validate their code then you're right, it might end up more exhausting than just doing the work yourself.

I've got a SQL card game
keep our children away as much as we can from tech stuf
How do you define "tech stuff" and why do you want to keep children away from that?
Big barriers to entry: regulation, liability, and reimbursement/payment
Right?! Who's buying? Big businesses or regular retail? Or are they limiting supply to keep prices high?
Sounds like the TVA - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_Variance_Authority
If nothing else it's a record of my failures :)
Introduction to Algorithms - Cormen et al.
- Kicked off learning about Big O Notation through this. The concepts completely changed the way I looked at code, especially being mostly self taught beforehand.
Numerical Analysis - Sauer
- Learned about Newton's Method from this book which blew my mind at the time and got me hooked.
Paul's Notes - https://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/classes/de/de.aspx
Very cool! I'd recommend simplifying it. I created a card game for SQL and kids were lost when there was too much work involved until I simplified it - https://rowsandtables.com
SQL Card Game - https://rowsandtables.com
I made it to teach some kids, including my own. I've got it up for sale with $0 marketing budget. If it sells then that's great, if not then that's okay too.
What numerical year is yawm al qiyamah?
The year 2050, Friday, the 19th of Dhu Al Hijjah
Well okay then
Needs ability to add frequency of dosing and factor in kidney function. Otherwise nice job so far.
Why not? Look at all the upvotes it's getting.
Google sucks. I've also had projects blacklisted, adsense banned, etc.
I have many, but also some that had some level of success - https://rinum.com
My lessons:
1) Keep your day job, most projects fail
2) Fail fast, 20% effort gets you 80% of the project and that's when you ship it to see if it works, doesn't have to be perfect
3) Don't hang on to failures, move on
I created a card game to introduce SQL - https://rowsandtables.com
Thank you for checking it out!
I created a card game to introduce SQL. Not exactly coding, but if interested check out https://rowsandtables.com
I've been playing around with that concept on https://vocalvoid.com
Here's my Show HN for it, didn't get much attention - https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=29486307
Thanks for checking it out and especially for your feedback! I definitely agree. I have some easy ideas to tackle at least some of these concerns (e.g. normalize volumes, block posts beyond a volume threshold, implement a CAPTCHA to post, etc.).
Biggest barrier is not enough sales or interest from others for my ideas. I've got my products out there, but I don't earn enough from them to afford working on them full time.
CPI includes many loss leaders, e.g. milk and bananas. So is it really fair to benchmark inflation off of the retail prices of those items if the retailer is losing increasingly more money on them while making up for it on other inflated/shrinkflated goods?

Scams exist in the real world too, so realistic!
Sounds like an investment in the energy sector is worthwhile now. Make money selling the shovels (reference to the gold rush where shovel sellers made more than people looking for gold, i.e. valuable NFT's and cryptos being "gold" here)
It's a social game. Being able to say that you own a meme (a "rare pepe" for example) can win you some popularity. I think popularity translates to influence and that influence has value. The market is trying to figure out what that value is.
Nice, super simple process! I've submitted an ad for my side project, rowsandtables.com. Looking forward to seeing how it goes.
Considering how much Elon Musk was pumping Dogecoin I'm surprised they didn't buy altcoins too
A card game to introduce SQL and Data Science - rowsandtables.com
It's a physical game requiring at least 2 people so it's a tough sell this year. Still managed to sell about 100 copies though.
Company got aquired, I got $0
