I think this is sort of cool to find out that a town in Korea take advantage of being on the DMZ to actually get more support for families

Yanggu County, one of South Korea's smallest regions (population: 21,000), leverages its DMZ-adjacent military population (80% of residents) and healthcare innovation to achieve a 1.52 fertility rate.

The implications of these differences become clear in times of crisis. When COVID-19 struck, agencies struggled to adapt their operations quickly and effectively—precisely the kind of capability that systematic process understanding and improvement would have facilitated. The same patterns emerged during the 2008 financial crisis and Hurricane Katrina response.

Inflation and immigration would both qualify as crisises that admins fail to handle

Brainard and Carmel aren't the only ones: Despite post-bankruptcy fiscal constraints and a hostile state government (at least until Governor Whitmier), Detriot has seen infrastructure and amenity improvements under Mayor Mike Duggan, but it still has a long way to go.

They also referred to Detriot's own investments during a tight time

"Matthews claims that it’s Tesla who is trying to steal its technology.

Over the years, Tesla has sued quite a few companies and former employees for allegedly stealing trade secrets, including regarding battery production, Dojo, and more."

Sorta belive Matthews on this

"successfully reversed declining fertility rates by consistently improving and working on family policy" not "successfully reversing fertility declines"

It's kinda sus that you leave the whole "rates" part out

- Japan (1.2) and Tokyo (.99) vs Nagareyama (1.5 considering it's in Chiba and Tokyo) & Nagi (2.95)

- Considering the Italian Birth Rate is in freefall whole South Tyrol is holding steady and above not just Italy's but also the UK.

- Czecha had a 1.8 until a drop to 1.6 during 2021 to 2022 according towards your dataset with Belgium, Lit. and the UK are now below

Considinder Czecha had a 1.1 in 2000, its only just makes it more impressive
