Love it. Now give me a columnar layout.

I also wonder how much he has personally changed over the past few years and whether that’s affected his vision for it: like it started as a deeply held conviction but simply drifted with his celebrity and more temporal concerns? I mean, even if he went off the deepend tomorrow and went full toxic internet guy (instead of partial), those core companies he’s created are seemingly a net good human process wise.
What are some of the alternatives you’d recommend?
I love the idea of these, but why one device vs usb-c mechanical keyboard + tablet. That combo of Plank keyboard + iPad Pro has proven absolutely killer for me as a portable and highly flexible work studio (design, write, Jupyter, and ssh-Ing).
Tobii is pretty intense about this stuff, esp re licensing. Their gaming stuff can’t be used for research, for example. It’s a similar vibe to eInk.

HOW DO I SAY YES?!
I would kill for language options on this. Having been studying Arabic while living in Northern Europe, none of the streaming services have Arabic dubbed shows. The only thing I’ve found is the expanse, which itself is in a different dialect than what I’m studying. Being able to easily search by language availability and subtitle availability would be wonderful.
Brutal. I don’t want to think about how much I’ve spent through Wolt (CPH) during the pandemic, but from a customer experience standpoint, they have been very fair. Quick response, predictable outcomes, no hoops. Congrats to wolt, thanks to all the delivery and service workers, and I’ll delete it at the first change in CS standards.
Shameless share of my toilet based art installation. https://vimeo.com/75448871
Strong second on the atlas headrest. It feels like the missing piece for the aeron as a chair that can do everything — focused work, lounging back to read, etc. I bought my aeron right at the start of the pandemics (as well as a split keyboard, vertical mouse) and honestly, not sure I can go back. Some consistent wrist and forearm pains have completely gone away.
I responded to one of these a year or so ago quite quickly, and EMTs beat me to the scene. Denmark does a really good job of distributing AEDs around neighborhoods, so I think the theory is just to stack up on response opportunities at the moment of a credible alert for better outcomes.
Man, so true. I’m still mad at LumeCubes for being USB-C, but only being chargeable from a USB-A to USB-C cable because making C to C charging would’ve required additional circuitry.
These guys are wonderful. I built their shruthi mono synth kit a few years ago, and it’s still one of my favorites.

I read this as “Users unable to reach places” and thought “That’s just apple maps.”
There was a recent argument over gun ownership in my neighborhood's nextdoor, which resulted in a bunch of gun owners outing themselves. Unfortunately, this did this alongside their actual addresses, which isn't great for various reasons. Users of Nextdoor seem to struggle more than most services around how they represent their private and public lives on the site: it seems to give many a false sense of anonymity, which is dangerous as hell when performed at the neighborhood layer.
DDS spun out of US Digital Service and DDS members go through the USDS hiring pipeline.
18F, USDS, and the Presidential Innovation Fellowships are philosophically related, but organizationally and functionally distinct.
