But just keep in mind that neural networks beyond 4 layers are often not better. and most work can be done with 3 layers total.. (so that is one hidden one), having two hidden ones can just do some things that a 3layer cant.

But more then 4 is more often a bad design and usually overkill of layers for most practical usages.

Although theoretical there no math limit to the amount of layers in practical terms its more often calculation time that explodes to unless its a simple FANN based network but then still 3 or 4 layers is 95% of the time enough

I also use spead reading once in a while. I can read realy fast going through large documents To be able to find something quickly I once got a huge document on my desk 3400 pages, and i had to decide if we would do that project, please try to read it. While other companies or private persons have to pay for it. that's unfair it discriminates people and companies. The law should be equal to anyone and not favor some lucky. Java just doesn't scale, if you want fast code you wont use java. C++ one of the best, and for quick development c#, you can always invoke C++ libs in C# anyway and both are supported in visual studio. If your into webdevelopment even there java is slow.. despite it has some fun libs, but most people use them because their lazy programmers, a good programmer wont rely that much on much external libs

i think you dont need to be a consultant in this, i mean its pure technique, if your technical and understand math, then you might be able to make something. you need the spirit of hackaday to be working in it, and dont think of goldmines, there is lots of competition. on the positives lots is done at universities (and they lack a lot of practical insight). So there is room for improvement, you might try to build your own coca colla finder just to train yourself.

Welll it seams this person is right to me, i did some c++ and c# and a dozen of other languages in the end its more often about development time that make up development costs.

And if your software is slow, blame it on a slow computer, these days there are fast computers much more faster then the old days when speed and short code where seen as an art. The slow computer is a customer cost upgrade, while taking extra weeks of coding is a softwarehouse cost upgrade.
