Reminds me of a server thing, where addresses are hashed, then sorted, I think it was for storage, gah, now I can't even remember it!
Hi, Can you tell us what it is?
Hi, How are you making money form this? ~ curious
I'm a developer, I remember one time I needed to have a particular piece of functionality in an app. I could have built it, but I found that someone was selling what I wanted for $3.00 on the internet, it was a no-brainer. I paid with something like gumroad, downloaded and plugged it in within a matter of minutes, vs the few hours I would have spent writing/debugging.
Beautiful
I like the simplicity of it.
Thank you for posting this.
I really thought Skype would snap this one up.
Hi,
I live and work in the UK, my designer friend lives on the other side of the world.
Whenever he has a new design for an app I'm making, he sends me the PSD files, I cut them up, export the images, add them into the app, compile and send him a new version of the app. Rinse & Repeat.
This is a crazy way of working. By allowing my designer friend to login to itheme.com, he can create different layouts of my app and test them in realtime.
I can then look at, and try out the different themes.
Thanks
Chris
Hey Thanks for your comment,
If you have a look a the code, there is a whitelist of controls that you can allow to be edited.
This is just the start really, I think being able to change images/CALayers etc can be added in quite easily.
Just because I think this is relevant, here are the three founders talk(http://5by5.tv/founderstalk) podcasts Sam did:
Part1: http://5by5.tv/founderstalk/38
Part2: http://5by5.tv/founderstalk/39
Part3: http://5by5.tv/founderstalk/40
They really are a great listen.
I really like the fact that you provoked an action out of me to connect the dots.
It's a HyperLocal service, the point is buying&selling things around you at that moment in time.
Thanks for your comment.
I have a huge business crush on Teenage Engineering, I think they have handled this situation extremely well. I don't know of any other company that has done this with their products.
ah! - Thank you! I will get them sorted as soon as I can.
As the developer of www.psd2html.co.uk I can honestly say I am very happy that someone else out there is doing something similar to me...you might ask why?
When I launched Psd2Html in late 2010, I was unable to get on the front page of HackerNews, or any other website for that matter, I was down-voted to oblivion. I had insulting, slanderous comments posted on the Mac App Store which were untrue.
I was ridiculed by "hand coding only" services like www.psd2html.com, the employee lots of people and don't want to make people redundant, but the problem with this approach is that they will never move forward.
I was certain, and I'm still certain hand-coding will go the way of the Dodo.
So Markupwand, thanks for re-validating the idea, and I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the idea was worthwhile.
I can see that I need to enhance my service/business model/add relative CSS positioning as an option.
I hope we'll be good competition for each other.
Thanks
Chris
Cool, thanks for that!
Hi,
I'm Chris from GameWeaver and HotKeys is my new app.
I've got some promo codes, so if you're interested, please let me know and I'll send you one, As you're probably aware I only have a limited amount.
I'd really like to see a timeline graph of:
(real startup stories) vs (product reviews/facebook news) over time
That's where you'll find the problem, I have a feeling it will be sloping in a certain direction.
Q. How many of your visitors look at your pages source code?
Q. How many times do you inspect the compiled assembly to see what it generated?
One day these tools will be perfect, it's just a shame for me that Adobe have copied what I've done for the second time: http://blog.gameweaver.com/2011/08/16/has-adobe-copied-anoth...
Has Adobe copied another one of my ideas?

1. At first for me it was a centralized database, If two apps want to access the same data, what are you going to do? We got around it by making an API.
2. A module for google checkout, I'm still trying to find a Python one for PayPal.
3. +1 For the HTTPS on custom domains
4. +1 To import and export databases
Reminds me of Transformers
First thing, TechCrunch isn't the be-all-end-all of tech sites. Number two, Mike Butcher's self proclaimed description of himself is "Butcher by name, Butcher by nature"
It's a real shame that a lot of people think TechCrunch is the place you need to go to "Make It"
So you got a bad review, pfff
My only advice would be, pick yourself up, dust yourself off and try, try, try again.
I've got my own Trademark a few times in the UK, you can do it all online. There is even a new "Right start" system where you only pay half until its accepted, then pay the other half.
What am I missing? I can see the solution for those 6 numbers {−2, −3, 15, 14, 7, −10} or is that the point, the more numbers you add, the longer it takes to solve and p=np is that it should get all the answers instantly?
Confuzzled!
I wrote about this a while ago,
Apple currently does not offer any in itunes analytics, for instance, how many people view your app page, how long they spend, do they click the images, do they click buy, if they click buy, do they complete the purchase etc. I'm sure they are working on it...aren't they?
