I've always wondered why they have never done a remaster of Toy Story.

Rightmove, the property sales website, absolutely destroyed local journalism in the UK. It was written on the wall, but local newspapers had all the local listings for property and other services. A local newspaper was 60%+ of house sales, but that advertising revenue paid for local journalists to sit and read council papers and attend meetings and get people out in the community. Nowadays, local journalism, even from national broadcasters like the BBC is a shadow of its former glory.

Tech industry walked right into this one, well done Musk.

We went to America to see some family and we were discussing books and we were shocked that they had never heard of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler who are an absolute staple of UK kids book culture (so much so that they adapt one of her books as animations for each Christmas). Well they are calling out for help and seeing if others have had the same problem. And you can see from the responses that there are people having the same. So we are either all messing up despite not doing anything different. So Google has messed up something and we are all suffering because of it.

Had the same issue - we have a massive register of regulated services and Google was a help for people finding those names easily.

But in August suddenly "Page is not indexed: Crawled – currently not indexed" shot up massively. We've tried all sorts to get them back into the index but with no help. It would be helpful if Google explained why they aren't indexed or have been removed. As with the blogpost every other search engine is fine.

Probably why there are endless reworkings of the site.

YouTube is just a content hose though and it does not care what it shows you, you can go down some dark routes with YouTube just by letting it play.

Their kid friendly mode is still completely full of absolute crap that you wouldn't want your kid to see.

I was going to say get a DAC, but they already had one in their setup.

Having visited the US recently I was shocked how tall the cars could be. They were essentially trucks/lorries with civilian drivers. There should be a special category of licence for those who want to do it. Or just bundle them in with the class of driver that drives a high/heavy load.

The point Amazon went downhill, and like all online stores, is when they started letting third party sellers sell through the platform.

It's now a black market where shady companies are trading on the good name of Amazon and selling the same products at lower products but usually from the grey market.

The only one where I have seen it improve a store (in the UK) is Next where they allow other trusted fashion brands to sell through the store.

Lots of the top comments talking about how Imgur can stay out of the UK more easily and not about how Imgur can comply with the law and protect children's data.

Why is it always that regulation is the problem, not the company being irresponsible with data.
