Is there ar particular reason why VSCode does does not perform at these refactoring features? Has it something to do with the underlying technology or did nobody implement it properly yet?

My experience with the mobile app is also very sluggish. I think there are two reasons some people experience it differently: 1. They use high-end phones and don't notice the high CPU usage of Obsidian and 2. Their vault does contain only a few hundred files.

I like to use single file for that. The approach differs, it downloads the website as a single file and allows annotations like sticky notes as well.

I really like the idea that is not meant as long-term to-do list, but for tasks that you are currently working on. I am pretty sure everybody already has some kind to to-do list, so your app complements that perfectly :)

This is a great recommendation I never heard of before. As I really don't like electron apps, QOwnNotes might be the way to go :)

I use Komoot. But it is not specialized on MB you can hike/walk/run with it as well.

Yes they develop Dynalist as well but as far as I know it is on "hold" and they are focusing on Obsidian atm.

This is just awesome. To my regret many GTK application don't care much about keyboard shortcuts any more. That's why I personally often use terminal applications. This project could actually make many applications usable again.

Exactly the same thing happened to me. I was reading hours into this topic and nobody was able to explain this topic in a convenient way. I even read the German sourced.
