Its weird, I never missed the key when I hit it but it always felt strange due to lack of feedback. I ended up binding Capslock to Escape and training myself to use that instead. Now I don't care at all.

Because the Oculus headset works on Steam games, but the Vive doesn't out of the box work with Oculus Home. You can make it work, but it's not quite official.

Works with seated SteamVR experiences, but not room scale ones, which I think is a more compelling experience.

Github has been known to remove files and repositories simply because employees don't like them, despite them not actually breaking any ToS.

This is an impressive pain in the ass. I race too and the only lock its ever trusted behind is a deadbolt. I bought a very nice mid 80s road bike for my commuter because its about as light as an entry level race bike but looks like nothing special.

If you really care, get the fancier lock (Kryptonite Fuhgettaboutit (http://www.amazon.com/Kryptonite-997986-Black-Fahgettaboudit...) they recommend and buy locking skewers. Then don't buy a new bike, but get a mid-80s steel bike and call it a day. I've left bikes locked up in the worst neighborhoods in SF overnight and haven't had shit stolen.

You were able to hail a cab in the street? Lucky you. I've had cabbies refuse to take me to where I want to go. I've called cab companies, told them where I am, and they refuse to come pick me up. I've seen a cab turn down an elderly couple want to go across town because his "meter was broken", but 2 minutes later take a fare that just went a couple blocks. And I'm a white male. Minorities have an even harder problem getting cabs.

Depending on where you live, cabs are not always something that is just as easy or reliable as Uber/Lyft/Sidecar/etc. When I'm unable to get home for whatever reason, I need a service I can rely on.

My favorite feature of SMS authentication is when I get locked out of accounts because I'm traveling and using a different SIM.

A lot of folks from the GIS community. As mentioned in the blog post, people will already storing this data on GitHub, now it's simply presented in a nicer fashion :)

And as you mentioned, sometimes just providing the tools empowers the community to do to do amazing things.
