Like Date, Entry1, Categorty2, Category3, person 1. on a button that you can drag and drop into the form then submit. Instead of having to type manualy every time. Is there anything like that out there?

This question was removed. I tried to search for a file with part of whole of the filename. In the older version of the Macs I would be able to get hits. Now nothing got a hit on a exact filename match I have.

Wolfram software is awesome! It beats any other software and it's why they charge for it. It's worth it. Education about computers, science and math made easier to manipulate. Fact based results.

If you google something you get jumbled results. Wolfram either you get it right with some facts back at your query. Or you get nil. You can be confident that it's a fact staring at you. You can cross reference and check it too! that's something google can't do.

Being able to do your own research and learn programming. I haven't seen a better documentation for software compared to Wolfram's.

He's beyond time in the future. Wolfram's software was used on the ISS to do some real world calculations to make a course correction. It helped me understand programming and computers. I look forward to wolfram adventures.

I think the internet has spoiled everything. Life used to be affordable now prices are going crazy everywhere. I blame the internet. If we didn't have it then we would have less wars, less drama, and more vary in living standards so everybody can get a piece of the pie. Now there's no pie left but the crumbs and crusts which are not very tasty.

Doing that form. I figured out that my Mac doesn't have the latest OS. I'm running on 11.3.1 I thought it was supposed to "update" itself. I don't see any new OS updates on the App Store or whatever it's called. I think it's BS the updates just take up more memory space on the computer AND make the computer run slower.

Our computers immediately depreciate like cars. I was able to make my older Mac Laptop from 2012 last 9 years and I am running on version 10. Now it's dying again. A clean install might fix it. I also had some upgrades to the hardware and fixes.

Making your car and computer run as long as possible saves a lot of money. Buying the newest stuff is wow expensive.

I haven't really looked at the comments, quick search of "you tube". Nothing of my issue.

On you tube the "homepage" or algorithm page, none of the thumbnails are working. The only thumbnail image that shows up is the Avert on the first top left area.

I am on a brand new Mac M1 from 2021. It's only a few months old.

Other stuff in YouTube works but the images don't come up. Hover now won't work either. Is Youtube aging on Safari? LOL.

Audiology industry is filled with profit seeking corporations and they a have a HUGE political hand. They lobby. I would not be surprised to see the Audiology industry fight back this. They make huge profits and Audiologists are licensed workers.. Like doctors they're required to go though hoops and loops to get a license. The cochlear implant industry is the same it's all about profit and pushing the CI into babies and taking advantage of the early technology by using them on deaf people where in the future it will be more like cyborg tech way more advanced and they're just testing and pushing this huge industry. It's full of people that think a hearing aid or CI is a solution to the problem where it's really not. I would put neuro link tech into the same pool as CI tech. They're testing it on disabled people and touting the benefits while hiding the negatives.

This is awesome! I can compare climates of my home to others in the world and see weather patterns all over. It's mind blowing. All though a visual medium rather than auditory (text is based on sound), which would be impossible to do the same. Or a lot harder. I think it's impressive.

Thanks for your reply it was helpful. Considering who will do the repairs in advance. I didn't think of that. Your answer was also helpful in having a start to end process to think about for planning the cost of the car.

The problems I mentioned were basic and I don't expect the same problems to happen with a newer car. The 1997 vehicle I have didn't have any issues for most of it's life. Which is pretty darn good. I threw out those examples because that's a few basic things that I know of that happen with a car. Granted more things than I mentioned break down at some point.

Like Arech mentioned with the newer cars you can expect to pay more in repair costs. Just because it's newer. I already know that. What I am trying to do is find a ballpark figure for what kind of range I will be looking at. Also, what kind of issues/repairs are common in newer cars? Which was my question in the first place. I was looking for a list of repairs to cross reference the costs with.

Arech's reply to look at forums is a great idea. That's a good start. Another source is owners of the cars. There are ways to get those questions answered.

Now another issue is how much wear and tear is on the car? how many miles will of course affect the repairs that happen. So maybe 100k, 150k, 50k whatever will have different expectations. Maybe there should be no big repairs until 100k miles or more which should be a thing. Unless computer parts?? sensitive to vibration and break. Looks like a easy way to make money for the industry. People are really tech-challenged today.

Arech pointed out that getting quality service may be an problem in my region. That might be a problem with the CX-5 which is fully loaded with sensors. I think it's valid to be concerned about buying a 2015 year vehicle that is full of electronics.

Getting the cheaper car is the easy way to go sure. But it's not so easy to convince oneself to do so. Newer cars are much nicer, don't break down as often engine wise, are more efficient.

Maybe I don't want to take on a loan to get a car like everybody else. Maybe I want to stay debt free. That's why I plan ahead for costs and when they happen. I have money ready to pay them.

I hope that explains clearly what I am trying to do. It's not only a question of cost here.

The purpose of my interest is doing research into possible auto that I will purchase in the future. Because some vehicles are more expensive to repair than others. I want to find out what kind of bill I will get hit and when. So I can anticipate my auto repair and maintenance costs in advance.

So, now today there are so many sensors. What if one breaks down how will it affect the car? will it be "bricked" will it be drive-able?

There's variables relating to the quality of the repair and diagnostic service I realize now. That's a valid point to consider.

Overall my purpose was to figure buying an car maybe 3k-6k price but older with low miles. 2000-2010? Or buying newer 2015ish for 15k which would be more expensive in the long run? How long do the cars run without getting problems.

I have a car 1997, I do fixes on it more often now but it's in the range of 400-800 each fix.

On my next purchase. I want to anticipate the price range of each fix I will have. It depends on how well you want to maintain your auto I realize that and that also varies person to person. Some people will just not fix a broken part if it still is running. Others will run to a shop and pay whatever to get it fixed.

In the whole picture it's hard to exactly know I agree. However, it should do able to find out a range of price that I can expect to pay for a breakdown. Water pumps break, tires go bad, rotors wear down and you don't replace on time. Common problems that happen. Will I get hit 1000-1500 dollars? 1500-2000 dollars? 3000? Newer cars can run without maintenance other than oil change and simple things to maintain, tires, wipers, fluids.

One way, compare part costs on each auto is one way to look at it. Comparing labor needed to fix something is another way.

I was looking for common fixes that happen on a car and of course it varies for each auto. That is my question. A list of auto repair issues. Then I can look up the costs on each. I can look online a breakdown and get a estimate. Problem I do not know on newer cars what kind of breakdowns are common and when they occur.

Suppose an 2015 Mazda cx-5 for example is fully loaded with sensors. What if one broke. What is the part to fix it. Is it common for breakage to happen? How much if something went bad and I have to fix it? Can I live without the sensor? How do I do research? I need to know what to repair. The name of the repair issue.

Anyone know the lifetime of the threads or tire? How often will they have to be replaced? So if it's the same it's not really much of a improvement. Just for the luxury of being "airfree". There will be some negative aspects or tradeoffs to be made with the tire? Companies are in it to make money and surely they won't make a new time that is 100x lasting than the current because that will be a losing proposition in their view.

Pretty good tool. I use Zoom earth, you can see the areas that are thick with smoke. Sometimes it's hard to tell with cloud cover happening at the same time. So you can pair up those two and get a good picture of what's happening now.

I agree the brain is the most powerful computer. No matter that the computers can compute so much faster and blah blah. The brain. I do need to write things down or draw things down.
