Reminds me of my friend’s Tascam four track recorder that recorded the tracks on cassette.

As opposed to the parent post that left the US out entirely?
How do they tell their significant other how to logon to a shared account when they aren’t together? How do they use the Yubikey with their phone, laptop and tablet conveniently?
How does that USB-C dongle work on my corporate computer that has USB blocked? How does it work with my iPhone or my iPad or my Kindle?
It is still optional most places.
Still, I can see a lot of scenarios where this might not work - e.g., the first one I thought of was a public computer at a library where Bluetooth might be locked down; corporate computers or remote servers could also be troublesome.
None of my desktop computers support Bluetooth. Neither do my wife’s.
I’d like to see them threaten Apple or Bank of America.
I doubt if that’s true since the vast majority of people no longer have printers. Not even the vast majority of online people.
How well does that Yubikey work with an iPhone?
Because I started in that era, I sometimes think that’s why I was motivated to learn synthetic programming for the HP 41, write the first disassembler for the HP 48SX’s ROM, why I wrote jailbreak software on the iPhone before the App Store existed. Tiny limited environments most resemble where I first coded.
This makes me sad about the history that has been forgotten. I never used a Sorcerer but I knew what the code was for at a glance.
You said the primary use case was breaking encryption - you have a cite for that, or these “other use cases” actually why quantum computing is being developed? Certainly, the public position is they are for breaking encryption but that seems woefully uninformed.
We can do more than one thing.
Who will pay for these “actual communities”?
Let’s bring Stack Exchanges back!
But it makes sense for them to do the "think of the children" lobby.
Why? It seems more like that’s baseless speculation with an agenda.
“which she doesn’t have and doesn’t want”
Hidden volumes aren’t that hidden if Veracrypt can find them.
The whole point is you are unable to detect that the drive is encrypted because it is only visible to USB once the password is written.
A copy of this USB drive would show nothing from the encrypted portion.
Try to explain how the hidden content would be found? It effectively doesn’t exist until the password is in place. It isn’t hidden, it isn’t connected at all.
The independent review team concluded the issue was from FOD in the pipe and recommended a redesign. Do you have a definite citation for someone stepped on it?
What about the on-orbit spares?
A new feed could be created and people gradually migrated to it.
Users don’t have to laboriously track down the drivers for a new peripheral and manually install them. It enables almost any device to become plug and play. But it needs guard rails.

Perhaps they should have used some type of traction paint.
Paywall.
Yeah, I don’t understand buying a car to sit around. It’s a car, if you aren’t driving it, you aren’t getting the full experience.
I daily drive what some think are just for special trips.
Incorrect.
