Two very different movies were made about this book: "Charly" starring Cliff Robertson and "Flowers for Algernon" starring Matthew Modine. The movies were made years apart and have very different vibes for the way that Charlie Gordon was portrayed reflecting different philosophies of acting at the times they were made. Cliff Robertson won an Oscar for his portrayal of Charlie Gordon.

This looks very useful - thanks. I have an idea. What about making your tags clickable topics that can act as search filters and be explored. For example, in the Pulse section what if you made "professor" listed after a person's name a clickable weblink that would filter the Pulse section to just show entries for people who fit the "professor" tag, etc.?
How much will it cost? Do you get free software upgrades or do you need to pay for each upgrade?

I like the way this other site, https://warfront.live , has a lot of different search facets that you can filter information by, eg. you can click "Live News," "Timeline," "Countries," etc. and then just below that you will see the sitrep summarized in different organizational ways.
I like some of the features of this other info source, https://intelmapper.com where you can scroll videos and when you click on a video's tile the map automatically zooms into the geographical location of that video.
This is really great! One thing I noticed is that there seem to be some formatting problems when I actually go to view a thread, as I see many alphanumeric strings sprinkled in the text that looks like they probably had some kind of formatting information.

The Claude chatbot for the general public won't even answer questions related to military AI. It won't even answer questions like if there are any dual use papers among a group of new AI research paper listings that might be of concern from an AI safety viewpoint.
This is why Google needs to be split up the same way that AT&T was when it became a monopoly.
The article finder retrieves way too many irrelevant articles. For example, I searched "AI agent" and many of the retrieved articles had the word "gentleman" in them (from picking up "gent" in my search term "agent").
Search "citizen science" and you will find plenty of projects where people are contributing in various ways such as contributing spare compute cycles from their home computer for some group computational project, etc.

I'm a little bit skeptical about whether or not this story is actually true, as some people will do anything for clicks and to "go viral." This story has not been picked up by any major news service and has only been reported by a very small number of sources.
That is a really dumb idea and is a good way to increase your chances of a neurological problem when you get older from those blows to the head.
