Almost as if centuries of passing the imperial exam by either skill or cheating influenced Chinese culture a lot.

GLM 5.2 came out under an MIT license, beats the latest Opus release on real work while not even claiming to be frontier

I used GLM 5.2 a bit, and while it is usable for some tasks it is not frontier quality. Besides it likes to think for a long time and sometimes just gives up.

As if workers got paid by "what $wealth allows". As if there was a "right to dignified work" (what is "dignified"?). As if there was a "right to fair income" (whats "fair"?).

This is, in the immortal words of Norm McDonald, some "commie gobbledygook". I don't think there is any "newspaper", as in traditional print publication, left worth reading.

That’s unreliable. Gemini is nice because its always perfect.

Generous free tier, when its not overloaded.

Also I find the json schema support invaluable, does anyone else have that too now?

In audio, this is usually the case. Musepack was niche-popular for some time as a simple, but very well tuned codec.

Its the same with speakers and headphones. People think its the component quality, but it’s mostly competency in overall audio physics and the ability to tune well.

This is a straw-man if I ever saw one.

Practically no one is against hard science research, properly conducted. The issues are rampant fraud / p-hacking / unreproducible garbage mixed with an unhealthy dose of ideological monoculture and indoctrination, garnished with rising tuition prices while sitting on huge endowments in case of the Ivy Leagues.
