But every-time I've tried to run DevDocs, I've had issues running it. Either the scraper or the MCP server fails to run.
It's pretty simple: ROAS (Return on Ad Spend). All our campaigns are performance-based. If one segment provider/SSP does well, it automatically scales spending. Likewise, if the performance drops.
Fair enough. We run about 10 different providers and automatically scale spend on who works best. Grapeshot is usually up in the top 5 for us.
It is pretty sad to hear - we've had solid results with Oracle's Grapeshot (segment audiences and brand safety for programatic advertising).
We were meant to meet them in person next week but got cancelled at the last minute.
I've heard all products will run normally, and everyone still has a job. However, they don't know what will happen in the near future. I assume Oracle is trying to flip off all parts of the business; if not, they'll shut them down.
We use Oracle's Grapeshot (they acquired them in 2018) which is a solid platform for audience targeting and brand safety for ads.
The product is still working since the news broke this week, and my assumption is they are going to try and sell it on as it's still a solid product and performs wells and brings us nice ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)

Starts from $549 for the barebones with an i9-12900H. You could argue it is a better option as it has an internal PCIe slot for a half-slot GPU, which will be much less bulk than a mini PC + eGPU. Plus, it would probably be cheaper since eGPUs aren't cheap.

Exactly. If you look at YouTube bitrate for a 1080p video, it's 8mbps, which is 1.67% of the theoretical max data rate of USB2 (480mbps), so there's more than enough bandwidth for CarPlay.

Agree with this. You want something with the least headaches as possible. You should be able to run the the Home Assistant App as well.
If you get a old iPhone and buy a replacement battery still more than likely be cheaper than buying a Rpi + screen + lipo-hat + battery.
This is a good idea. You don't want to have a full-on Linux distro controlling your lights. You want something you can set up and forget.
You will feel a world of pain when there is some bug, and it will take you 8 hours to figure out the issues so that you can turn your lights on. The simplier, the better for these kinds of applications.

Agree having Jellyfin/Plex you primary way to consume media makes life a lot easier.
The problem is that most of the cheap Chinese (minus all the adware) don't have Widevine support, so you won't be able to use Netflix in HD. Also, if you are sideloading apps, you'll need to do a lot of fiddling to get stuff working.
The Nvidia Shield is probably your best bet on the least amount of crap on there that still gets regular updates. You can change the luancher to hide the ads and lock down as much of the phone home with Adguard.
Also when you look at majority of Android TV devices, none of them get any update. The only ones that seem to do are the Chromecast TV and Nvidia Shields. If you're in Murica, you can pickup the new Onn box for $20 but being that cheap it will probably be phoning home more.
End of the day you just want your TV to just work. If you start having to sideload Netflix/Prime/Hulu, you're gonna encounter sooner or later spending hours just to fix it.

Software support isn't there yet but it's slowly getting better.

But not having a fab means they're flexible to jump ship in the future if someone was ever to outpace TSMC.
Also, consider Intel's fabs, which were stuck on 14nm for years. This probably factored into one of the reasons Apple made the jump over to Apple Silicon.
Exactly. A53 cores are efficiency cores designed for non-intensive background tasks in phones to save battery.
The only decent cpu atm that will eventually show up in TV boxes is the Rockchip Rk3588, but they aren't as cheap as some old s905x chips, and software support is very early days, so it will be a while before we see them in any android tv boxes.
The key does seem to be you need at least a quad-core of high-efficiency cores. The Nvidia Tegra X1 found in the Nvidia Shield and Switch runs fine even though it has even older A57 cores(predecessor to the A72). Compare this to rockchip's last-gen Rk3399, which only has 2x A72 cores (and 4x A53 cores) and is pretty slow compared to a Rpi 4 (but that could also be because of crap software support on the Rockchip side)

If you pickup a Rock 5b (rk3588 as well) you will get 2.5g ethernet too.

Tbh, Three was even worse when I rang, I just got a call centre in India, and they can never help you.
Does suck about EE for you. I've had a few issues, but they are okay with giving me credit. They messed up my discount on my latest contract, so they gave me a recurring discount of £5 on my contract and added like 3 months of credit on.
I also had an issue with BT (which I assume is the same call centre as EE). They never gave us the signup bonus (free soundbar). I waited six months, got the ombudsman involved, and someone high up gave me a call. They instantly realised it was pretty messed up. So, in the end, I ended up getting a Soundbar, and like £300 back in credit, so I had free internet for most of the contract, then cancelled as soon as I moved house.
But if it happens to you, always hint you don't want to get the ombudsman involved, and they will suddenly get their crap together.

To add, if you want to try O2, there's GiffGaff/TescoMobile and if you want to try EE there's 1pm Mobile and EE offers PAYG sims as well.
I have 5g internet at home, tested every network and EE was miles faster than anyone else even though I live close to all the towers. I did find that going on a contract was alot cheaper than PAYG, and it's the only way to get unlimited data on EE. Still it's £30/month which is cheaper than what Voxi is offering.
With the wifi on the tube, the EE one works alot better than Three who goes through the Virgin wifi network. EE installs a profile so it auto connects quite reliably when you stop at stations.
Unrelated to 3, but we had an issue where our brand new site was blocked by Vodafone UK. Turned out they had some automatic firewall service that marked our site as suspicious and blocked it. They seemed a bit better than 3 as there was a process for applying for it to be reviewed and removed.
I'm assuming something similar happened to 3 where it was probably automatically picked up and blocked.
3 Home broadband is a good deal if you're close to a 5g mast as their 5g gear is quite new. If you're not close to a mast or its 4g only, you'll have the complete opposite experience.
From what I've read, alot of 3 Towers only have a single 1gbit virgin fibre link so you're at mercy to who else is using the same tower. If it's in a area with alot of traffic, you'll probably have pretty crap speeds.
I was on 3 until my contract ran out a few months ago, but it was still that bad. Oxford Circus you have full bars of 4g but no signal at all. I was going in quite alot last year before most people had returned to the office it made no difference to pre covid.
I think part of the reason is that 3 only use a handful of bands where EE has a bunch more to spread the load.
Was the same when I needed to tether my phone, always had no signal but couldn't load anything. Had to hotspot off colleagues phones. This was all over central London (Shoreditch, London Bridge, Holborn)
Moved to EE and now don't have any issues.
By the time you get a Rpi 4, a decent power supply and an external SSD, it's usually around the same price as a mini PC which you can get with a 7th/8th/9th Gen i3 or even i5 with everything included.
I get that the Rpi will use less power, but I imagine many people will be like me and have it overclocked to 2.1ghz, and my heatsink was pretty warm all day long.
I've recently picked up a Optiplex 3070 with a i5 9500t for $120 and bought 32gb of ram off ebay for another $40. Considering a Rpi 4 is going for $100 on eBay, it's not a bad deal at all.
I mentioned this already in a comment, but although this is a good law, the price of cigarettes is so high that most people have already moved to disposable vapes, which you can get from any Dairy (Kiwi word for a corner shop).
To top that off, Crime in NZ post covid has been pretty high, and Ram Raids (driving a stolen car through a shop front) are becoming more and more frequent. With cigarettes being so expensive, they are usually a pretty common target. A dairy worker was stabbed to death a few weeks ago by people who were probably intending to steal cigarettes [1]. I can see less and less retailers stocking cigarettes as the risks outweigh the benefits.
Also, the price of groceries in NZ is extortionate [2] and combined with crappy wages (every man and his dog are moving to Aus to double their salary), no one can afford to buy cigarettes.

Cigarettes are so expensive that no one really smokes them in NZ anyway, everyone has already moved to vapes.
I doubt that there will be a black market for tobacco as, by the time you smuggle them in, they still won't be that cheap.
Also, MPI (Ministry for Primary Industries) are even more strict on importing organic materials (or any biological for that matter) than Customs are on drugs.

Nice find! Yep I read about fermentation as well. I'm neither a huge fan of sweet or vinegary hot sauces so I usually find Sriracha or Mexican hot sauces (eg. El Yucateco) as my go to's.
I find most of the Thai brands to be too sweet. I prefer the Huy Fong as it has less sugar (I tried to compare the nutrition facts but the Huy Fong one is a bit BS).
However I find most Asian products in the UK always seem to have crazy amounts of sugar in them which I'm not a huge fan of.
From the reviews I've seen over the years for the Rk3399, even when the software side is all working, it seems to be a bit of a disappointing chip.
My guess with a lot of RK3399 devices popping up is due to a couple of things: 1. The limited supply of budget SoCs due to the chip shortage and 2. Rockchip trying to clear stock for when RK3588 boards finally start to ship. Of course, we'll be back to square one on the software part.
I do see the Jasper Lake mini PCs getting cheaper and cheaper, and I see that as more of a competitor to SBCs as there doesn't seem to be as many stock issues compared to Rpi4's and by the time you buy a Raspberry Pi, SD card, heatsink and power supply it does end up being not much cheaper.
