The DBA life is fraught with pain. Those battles that we endure are mostly invisible to many. Those countless sleepness nights are a testament to our dedication.

I only read ebook when I don't have access to my physical books. When I do read ebooks, I prefer it on my XTeink X4. It doesn't have the conveniences that Kindle and other similar divices offer but it works for me.

I'm betting on good, old writers that are not molested by ChatGPT. We will see troves of people getting back to Paperback & Hard Cover and people opting for pen and paper - analog - to record their daily lives.

We're just scratching the surface on Generative AI and I'm already tired of it. I got a tech book that was obviously written with the aid of ChatGPT.

I am favoring old non-fiction books for my reading pleasure - the ones that were bourne from human toil.

If I had the financial resources, I would buy every yard service company that serves my immediate neighborhood, specifically those that love to do their work at 7 AM on Saturdays.

My 401K is on a different fund only because VTSAX is not one of the options (but it's on an index fund tracking S&P 500). My IRA is fully on VTSAX. If I have an option, I'll put all my investments on VTSAX - I'm rooting for the US economy!

Google "VTSAX". I originally had 3 funds but now holding just one - VTSAX. But of course, that will change as I get closer to retirement (still far :-))

I wish I learned about Index Funds when I was younger. Thanks, Jack! I'm a happy Vanguard customer holding a single Index Fund fund.

We all have our own preference when it comes to investing. One big factor in investing is diversification. Well, putting all your eggs in one basket is a risky business.

Yes. I surveyed blogs written about index fund. Most suggested Vanguard (inventor of Index Fund). Like you probably noticed above, my ideal 3-fund portfolio consists Index Funds/ETF's from Vanguard.
