Who has time to read the comments when HN blasts us with so many uncategorized articles. Perhaps you should consider what percentage of comments are even read.

I'm wondering then what are the benefits of Apple doing it's own silicon? Perhaps it would be the obvious and what they've actually told us... making the circuitry massively smaller so they can fit in a bigger battery. Hmmmm.

It's right in front of you, everywhere, even at the supermarket -- MaximumPC magazine, in print and online. It's all there, building machines from $500 to $3000. I'm building a new one right now and picking up all the hints that the experience people will share in their articles even though I've done it many times before.
