Been playing with this. It's super handy when I'm working from home and need to show people my files without committing or heroku-ing or anything.

Anybody else just have the take-away of, "Man, what a colossal douche"? Really discouraging to me re: acting like a totally overconfident tool and liar more so than encouraging re: success.

Interesting story.

The main goal was to make sure the industry survived and couldn't be bullied any longer. Even though it's a settlement, it sounds like he may have gotten that, which would be a big win for all the other (smaller) podcasters.

Prediction: As with most everything people want to give away, the ridiculous "internet is a right" argument is about to blow up. It's the quickest path to deride those who disagree with you and elicit guilt, no matter whether it makes sense. It's been misused for many, many things already; no reason for them to stop now.
