On the other hand I have worked with team mates that just don't communicate what they are doing. I always got the feeling that they either don't do anything at all or work on things that are completely irrelevant.

Over time I tend to develop a poor opinion of these people.

Communicate what your accomplishments are and why they are important for the business and you will be fine.

Everything else is kindergarten.

Mixtral 8x22B 2 years ago

I have been using mixtral daily since it was released for all kinds of writing and coding tasks. Love it and massively invested in mistrals mission.

Keep on doing this great work.

Edit: been using the previous version, seems like this one is even better?

And the enshitification begins. Remember that you as users are next.

Find a sustainable alternative now. I personally recommend bandcamp + youtube combo. Yt to explore and find new music, Bc to buy the music I enjoy and __own__ it.

Get a job at a restaurant/ supermarket/bar - something basic, boring and manual. At least for a year or so, you will have a very different experience. Work 6-8 hours, then clock out and meet some people.

Sounds dumb but IMO you should dial it back and ground yourself a bit more - friends you make a that age often stay for life. It's harder after.

Seriously though ignore internet advice

Newgrounds still exists.

But AFAICT there is basically 0 money in browser games now, which is why only romantics and masochists still work on them.

sounds like a very defeatist attitude.

for good software consulting revenue is not a function of how many bugs/bad UX there are- you consult on setup, integration, maintenance, etc. If the software improves the need for this does not disappear.

If you communicate clearly what the proprietary parts of the software are, it also shouldnt be an issue. If someone wants to implement and especially maintain and test them themselves without paying, they are free to fork and do that.

This is a unique feature of Kratos/Hydra, you can use your own frontend components. With many other implementations this is not possible. What do you mean by "much more opinionated client", there is a set of standard flows that your app has to handle and thats it for most cases.

If you want out of the box components they also have a paid version for that (and code examples in OSS)

Mainstream media said the same thing about nuclear energy, steam engines, integrated circuits, and a dozen other technologies since the dawn of civilization. It never manifested though, and people still work and produce like they did for thousands of years.

Humans are surprisingly adept at coming up with new kinds of work.

IMO the bigger "risk" is that we will extinct ourselves in the next few hundred years, but that is a different discussion.

How many hours of hard work do you need to put in before you can have the "benefit" of calling yourself an artist?

Tbh this sounds like gatekeeping to me.

Technology is just what it is. Good and bad are human categories that don't apply to technology per se (and are very subjective categories that change dramatically across time, space, and culture)

What humans use it for is another discussion.

One example: - You can use nuclear fission to provide light and warmth to millions or blow up millions.

Is nuclear fission good or bad?

I would argue it depends what humans make of it.

Same with what you call "AI".

I wish you luck with your coalition, but once a technology is "out there", you cant take it back. I don't think there is an example in history where that happened, would be curious if you know one.
