To me majority != mostly.

"I guess if you auto complete line by line and actually read the code it should be gucci."
Not from their wording.
"Mostly at any given time?"
Yes, old project with 1M LOC of pre-AI code + 100% AI 100k LOC generated coded for the last three months, is that mostly?
What is mostly? >50%? >75%?
What does "written by generative AI" means? Autocomplete? IDE-with-AI-normal-classname-completion? Everything not typed by a human.
I personally don't find this clear at all and see many unhappy discussions in the future for Codeberg.
What is a vibe coded project? Where does it start? Cursor autocomplete? One shot Github project copies?
[Edit] The pull link is https://codeberg.org/Codeberg/org/pulls/1253/files and says
"7. You must not share projects that mostly consist of code written by "generative AI"-tools (including services such as Claude, OpenAI Codex). Such projects having an unclear copyright status (see requirements § 2 (1) 1 and § 2 (1) 3) and furthermore have little safeguards to ensure that they do not include harmful code (c.f. § 2 (1) 5)."
Whatever "mostly" means. If you autocomplete a lot, and the code written is "mostly" written by AI by autocomplete - it seems you fall under this.
I wonder what the ratio needs to be. And I wonder if auto-refactoring in Intellij is also included, because Intellij created the code and then also has "unclear copyright status" if we follow the logic.
Together this opens up more questions to me than it answers.
What works best for you I guess.
There are many variables to prices, like larger cities, longer commutes (US drivers drive 2x km per year compared to Germany), bigger cars with worse gas mileage - so higher taxes on gas with higher gas prices (like in Germany) would probably kill the US economy.
Yes, taxes. This is more a philosophical thing, high taxes, high cohesion society, low taxes, everyone on their own. Germany especially after WW2 made the decision for a high cohesion, compromise society (which looks to be at it's end - not society, but high cohesion and solidarity, many want lower taxes).
There are many thing people could do, eat less meat, smaller homes, electric cars, green energy, no flights etc. but the vast majority of people does exactly nothing.
An article is either great or it isn't.
I don't care if a human, an AI or a cat wrote it.
Or the amateur hour backdoors are those that are found.
Or the amateur hour backdoors are there to be found.

1.) Yes, it took 3 months to switch the company hq + IRS + Notar etc.
2.) But it really does depend a lot on the city, state etc.
3.) UG is 500 EUR - changing to GmbH is then also quite cheap
You had some - millions (?) of - DNS queries free in the past.
Yes, that is what I pay ("basically nothing")
I love bunny so much - I host 10+ (Hugo) websites there and I pay basically nothing (+ CDN, DNS, ...).
Nice, my Google 10 I feel boots rather fast but I'd say 5sec to boot, unlock, camera +5 secs so it would be 10 for me - 3 seconds I envy you.
:-)
Nothing, I'm here since the 70s and haven't moved.
To the EU.
Some Jews in Germany thought that the EK medal from WW1 would safe them from the Nazis.
And why had that cars be to be refueled in pharmacies?

It would be kind of a stretch to argue this as the reasons for separation of the US from the UK - I can see some of it, but I think the argument is a stretch.
I'd wish the EU would pay for California separatism as much as the US is supporting breaking up the EU (Orban, AfD in Germany, Farage, ..)
I would think it depends on what you count in as cost, how long you can operate a data center, in which intervals you need to train new frontier models etc.
There are lots of knobs to dial for your costs.
There are coders and creators. The first identify as their tools, the second don't care about the tools (too much).
This explains to me 90% of the reactions I get when I talk to people.
I let them talk via tmux, two panes, each has an agent and agents know how to send text via tmux to panes.
"What gives you confidence that they aren't?"
What gives you the confidence that Bigfoot does not exist?
What gives you the confidence we're not ruled by Reptile overlords?
What gives you the confidence we're not just in the Matrix and nothing matters?
What gives you the confidence you're not just a dream by a dog in Sicily?
What gives you the confidence I even exist and you're not talking to yourself?
You're entitled to your conspiracy theories and paranoia of course, but it's not an argument."EU explicitly required that ISPs retain your identifying data with the Data Retention Directive"
And then sells it?
Deutsche Telekom in Germany/EU farms and sells my data? Any sources?
Having migrated from Windows11 to Popos/Nvidia, Minecraft is ~20% slower depending on shaders installed and distant horizons mod. TF2 is also slower but both still fine.
