Another thing these posts assume is a single developer keep working on the product with a number of AI agents, not a large team. I think we need to rethink how teams work with AI. Its probably not gonna be a single developer typing a prompt but a team somehow collaborates a prompt or equivalent. XP on steroids? Programming by committee?
This article seems to miss the point that a website rarely serves content from a single domain. If it pulls content from 30 different domains, all TLS protected, would the user get 30 popups asking it to allow them each?
The current TLS/PKI allows for much better UX, users would reject the proposed solution.

The underwater options is scary. What I wonder though is what happens if the exercise price is larger than the stake is worth. Since nobody would exercise their options, would not that money be split over the rest of the stake holders?
So when the ROI is negative for some parties, it should grow on the other parties. Isn't that so?
Well to be fair, we released the same Bitcoin functionality for Android and Mobile Web at the same time. This was in May earlier this year (at Bitcoin 2013 in San Jose).
We survived 8 iOS releases with Bitcoin functionality in the app store without hiding that functionality to Apple.

I guess the main difference would be coverage in media. Even if users wouldn't 'loose' more than they normally do their information would be 'lost', 'hacked' and 'stolen'.
It's an interesting distinction though, since the governments would probably be forced to act on behalf of user privacy if information appear to have been 'lost' rather than 'sold'. Would probably be the start of the privacy equivalent of the Great Stink.
