A good example of a project is https://flags.gg which is a multi-tenant/project/agent/environment system which has language support in Swift/Kotlin/PHP/Ruby/Rust/Go/React and is in use in things like

https://interviews.tools which is an interview planning system that has a website written in typescript/react and an iOS app written in Swift (hence the language support) which exists on the App Store, and an Android app written in Kotlin (again hence the language support) which will/should be in the play store by the end of next week (been through testing already just waiting for play store approval)

I would prefer not to do technical tests, you don't ask a surgeon with 20 years experience to cut someone up, you accept that yes they know how to do simple things like how to write a for loop (to stretch the analogy) as I have said I have hundreds of thousands of lines of code online if you want to check out my code

Not quite finished yet, but ready enough to soft launch, its a React landing page (needs redesigning really), NextJS dashboard, Go backend

Its a multi-project, multi-agent, multi-environment flags system, that has (imo) generous allowances for free

There is a few things that are still in the roadmap

- Conflict Flags (turning 1 flag on, auto turns off a different one)

- Environment promotion (currently flags have to be added to each env)

- Server-side usage support (only React/NextJS frontend is supported atm)

I quite like https://migadu.com mainly for its very easy to understand pricing system, when you have 5+ domains and domain aliases gmail becomes very very expensive and that’s before adding all the seats

the modules are usbc, but the ports themselves are thunderbolt you can plug any thunderbolt adapter into the port directly rahter than use the "usbc" module (if you wish)

the main issue with plugging into the laptop is dimensions, because there is only so much clearence

I quite like the Touch Bar, with things like pock it means I can have full screen, hide the dock entire and still have notifications

And the ability to set custom apps inside it with iterm, and not have to loose a key on the board itself

I spend most of my time in vi when in terminal, and never had a “I’m missing an escape” ever

it would have been very difficult for him to have been a PHP programmer before being C programmer, since he invented PHP by writing it in C, which is why most PHP functions are almost exact syntax as C

the problem is that its fine if your doing this on your own

its when you force that mentality on others because you don't know how todo it a different way that's wrong

e.g. If I only use Laravel why should my decision of only using a larval dictate that the next project has to be done in laravel, it might be something that can be done in 50 lines of code

But I only use laravel, there for you have to use laravel to solve the problem
