Yep! This is how we started The Fetch (http://thefetch.com) – a what's happening city guide for professionals to discover local events.

I started it out of Melbourne, Australia and we've gone to 10 cities across the US, Europe and Asia Pac within a year. :)

Have you thought of making the WayBackLetter a section of the HNL? Seems like you already have a great audience that wouldn't mind receiving a few links of all-time HN goodness in it. You could then save the neat WBL domain for multi-purpose cool reads from across the web!

Congrats again on the 100th issue!

Nice first post and like how you've written it in a gender-neutral tone. It kind of depresses me as I envy people who have supporting partners, and feel as an entrepreneurial woman those attributes are harder to come by in a male partner. I know it's generalising, but most guys want to take the centre stage. Do they want to hold the home and emotional front together? Probably not. Sigh... :-)

I did a similar thing recently. I had so many things I wanted to work on and no time to do them, especially while working fulltime or being tied to one location. As they say - you can always get money back, but not time or opportunities. It's not a conventional path to take, but it certainly challenges your creativity and willpower. And as Xavier put it – it's about the freedom to say yes.
