Thank you, its unfortunate that it performed terribly on social media, otherwise I wouldve loved to continue making this sort of content

Oh well back to making 'I got isekaid to a medival time period with a cheat skill and harem'

Why hasnt the EU develop an competitive open source model? Ive only of mistral, but with the chinese models you have GLM, Kimi, Qwen, Deepseek etc all of which seems to be better and better

what is not being copied and why?

Most counterfeits goods skimp on manufacturing quality. Like instead of very detailed stitching with intricate design they might just skip that altogether. For instance one of the easiest ways to identify dupes is if the brand name and design on a bag 'flows' to the other side. Obv counterfeits dont really care because they want to save money

For counterfeit goods that are so high quality 1) they would only show pictures of it, not the real thing and 2) only cost like 1/3 of the brand price.

Aka that $600 bag would still cost $200 if it had identical quality. This is all based on what business owners told me from when I visited counterfeit markets in China

I mean Michigan really loves it when something gives jobs, so as long as the data center actually enacts on it then I suspect opposition will go away

That said, we've seen data center projects often employ much less jobs than expected. I know Core Scientific when they did a data center in like Texas they employed like 10 people not 200

Maybe the thesis is that

Open source low cost models will dominate most enterprise tasks as cost curves will dictate usage. TM is trying to replicate that especially as the US and China gets more defensive with their tech

If a human writes a novel, it's inherently worth more because it's hard-earned and anchored to experiences we share

But the market doesnt reward that. Different consumers different markets, but (using a salad analogy) overall consumers dont care how a salad is made, only whether it tastes good and is cheap

One of Micheal and Dalton video does address this

Even if you larp revenue, when you get acquired or go public auditors will figure stuff out. Or worse you go to prison. Its like cheating in college-youre just hurtung yourself and others

So the VA jobs are dying are the low end side(like how we see jobs getting fired due to an overhiring prepandemic)?

Cuz i agree, if theres good acting, good voices, paying humans is a no brainer. Theres just so much sludge and it feels hard to get into contact with good VAs

Voice acting has always been a dying art, but AI for sure is killing it

Unless the work is higher end theres just so much hassle working with humans. You got to do a casting call, wait weeks to get 100 applicants, listen to all of them, and pray that the VA still actually does a good job. Ive hired VAs in the past and unless the work is very high end, we choose AI and this trend doesnt seem to be stopping.

For consumers, they dont seem to notice or care. For instance, all those movie recap videos you see on youtube? All AI narration. Those still get 100k+ views

I already did- I ask it to inform purchasing decisions and use it as a google to determine etf/bond allocations

Do I need a custom app for this? No, claude in a csv + me looking over it works fine. Im not an avg consumer which I would argue isnt doing dcf models on their retirement plan

Being frank I think its not enough to have a good looking app and have some llm calls

Think about your competition for your market. When I want my child to really excel in learning, I would force them into kumon - so they can skip a grade. If your a student who wants to learn you have khan academy.

And im just not seeing anything that screams-this is better than khan academy and kumon

All i see is an education app with good design

Sorry if it sounds harsh

P.s. if youre on the mission of educating people from developing countries-different story and different problems. Ignore what i put here then
