How do you do this internally, without sending team members off to "camp"?

I know your passion is Yoga, but it seems that your model would work with many types of fitness and health professionals (pilates instructors, personal trainers, massage therapists, etc.) and maybe even broader with other service professionals.

It may be risky if you feel you have tapped into a very dedicated niche of users, but increasing your scope (and ability to scale) may make you more attractive to investors and other accelerators. Good Luck!

Ben Franklin attributed his initial failure and subsequent success in this venture to not "rais[ing] one's reputation in the smallest degree above that of one's neighbors". Perhaps he was incorrect in his assumption and this is simply a good example of early investors preferring to invest in a project with management team rather than a solo entrepreneur.

On another note, for those who are criticizing Franklin's integrity, should we do a comparison with the business leaders and politicians of today? I think Franklin would come out looking pretty good.

My guess is that you wouldn't use the tool if you had a mobile version to your site. I wasn't on this team, but my understanding is that it's not intended for browsing per se. The idea is that a huge number of people are opening links from emails and other messages on mobile devices. Bounce rates are much higher when this link is directed to a full site rather than a "mobile-friendly" site. If you can capture their attention a bit longer with the "cinch'd" site, there is a much higher chance they will return later. I believe a feature to purchase directly from the cinch'd site is in the works.

The bottom line is that these guys built this from scratch in less than 54 hours -- pretty amazing to me.

Considering we just celebrated Veterans' Day, and the fact that I happen to be a Veteran, I thought I would post a plug for the benefits of hiring Vets.

I know this isn't the original intent of the post, but this occured at a make or break time in Boeing's history and turned out to be a launching point for the company. If anything had gone wrong, Boeing would probably not exist today,

I've heard the rumors and am excited to finally try this out, but I'm a bit disappointed that in won't run on IE without a browser plugin. If the intent is for this to be used by teams, I would assume that the folks at Asana would realize that a large number of organizations (mine included) still use IE, and often make it difficult for people to install plugins.

While I applaud his effort to help the Aussie's feel that they don't need to move halfway around the world in order to grow their startup, and while it seems that the world for startups is getting flatter, it is very hard for me to believe that Facebook would be what it is today if Zuck and his pals hadn't moved to Silicon Valley.

Can we improve the ways in which we utilize the resources on our plant? Definitely, but human beings can't be measured solely by consumption, but by their ingenuity and creativity, which help us to develop new resources, find new ways to deal with challenges, and discover new ways to protect the environment.
