You already have an agent freely doing stuff on your machine. Subagents prompts are a weird place to draw a line. It's not like you're reading everything the agent is doing in any case, let's not kid ourselves.
It's useful to show the actual team that it's possible. From there, they can make the decision of whether to go the bun route with more information.

Very few, entreprise users (aka volume) will pay the license, hobbyists will pirate it if need be. AMD doesn't want to do support for the hobbyists for free, that's all.

This 5% increase is actually huge, because the amount of bitcoins in actual free float is very small. The same coins get traded over and over while the vast majority sits in cold storage. A 5% supply sell off would eat up all of the order books, and that's before everyone else starts selling off.

This isn't necessarily true. If you map out changes through the history of species, you'll find no significant changes but a lot of diversity for long periods, followed by big changes and low diversity for a short period. That's because during "abundant" times, the population will develop diversity as long as it doesn't significantly hinder reproductive rates. When an environnemental pressure comes up, the diversity dies down because the ones lucky enough to have adaptations that suddenly become useful and reproduce more.
So an animal might get a longer neck, but that doesn't significantly increase reproduction because food is aplenty. It's only when there's a drought that longer necks become an advantage and the trait is now selected for.

Absolutely not, economies of scale. To say nothing of the cost incurred when an issue appears with your installation (lightning strike, water damage, etc) would be much higher.

I disagree with this, being able to take something and surprise your management with how few dependencies it has and how fast you set it up makes them want to work with you more, not less. The engineer making a new abstraction layer has management groaning at the idea of having to onboard everyone to it.

Their existing users is an edge, but that's not much for the scale they're operating at. Users are lazy and even if you tell them "Gemini is 50 % better !" if ChatGPT isn't bad they won't switch.
They do have a bunch of add-ons now with Realms notably, but I wonder if this revenue goes to Mojang or to another Microsoft branch for tax reasons. To say nothing of derived media, plushies, Legos etc.

That's just straight-up false ; the phone without security updates has known exploits its user knows nothing about (and certainly not how to avoid them). The phone with an unknown OS has a user capable of installing said OS, at the very least.

Matrix is awful. I don't know if that's still the case but when I tried it a year ago it took me more than 30 minutes to get it working. In discord, you sign up with email (very low friction), click the + button and boom. You've got a private server you friends can join by clicking a link. It Just Works and until an alternative has this level of convenience Discord is not going away.
This is to say nothing of the insanity of public, effectively unmoderated rooms on Matrix.
