Are you providing introductions to first tier banks via connections (Chase, BoFA, etc) or is it simply to something such as Mercury?

Starling is neat except you need to request a special exemption from them for EVERY payment you send over £25,000.

Only takes them an hour or so to approve it for you, but it gets pretty old having to do it 3-5x per week.

I agree, getting that initial user base is always tricky. After that, things kinda perpetually keep themselves going.

Especially when you're likely talking about interesting topics / questions people google for. It seems in recent years that going has favored articles over forum topics in their results, but I'm sure there's still plenty of search traffic that goes to forums to bring in new users.

Cool idea. HN can get a little annoying / slightly unwieldy when threads get large. A forum is a much better format IMO.

They're very useful in large scale web crawling/scraping. I use them for a number of things in this field.

Scrapy. 100%.

From personal experience I can actually say scraping Facebook, although not trivial, is also not as difficult as you would likely expect, and their rate-limiting is pretty lenient.

IP's/Accounts are very easily to come by these days.

This bug could have been used to make so much money.

1. Find a group on Facebook of users you're interested in.

2. Do this bug to get all of their emails.

3. Building a lookalike audience from these emails.

How many influencers do you have on your platform / what kind of variety?

The reason I'm asking is I've been on calls with probably 20+ PR agencies and a similar number of brands doing influencer marketing in the past 6 months, and their #1 issue right now is they can't get the right people. Most of the existing influencer platforms have the same influencers, or just not a big enough variety. If you want to advertise a new bikini on a swimwear model; you're fine. Want to launch a new soft drink? They're struggling with the existing platforms.

We're trying to solve this, we're not quite launching yet (probably in the next few weeks), but we're trying to solve this. We currently have just over 1.4M Instagram users along with their email contact information.

PS: Your pricing is way too low. By a factor of 10-50x probably.

How else would you suggest they verify it?
