great feedback! we are working on cleaning some edges in the product and soon make them available for self -serve. Currently it needs some hand holding.
thx for sharing video!
Hello All, I would love to get your feedback on our early version of the product we are working on.
Do you find it frustrating that you send a pitchdeck to investor or a product intro to a customer and you have no idea if and when she sees it, and what portion of your document catches her most attention?
To solve the exact same need, we have built a new product called SendArrow which would allow you to publish your documents (ppt, pptx, pdf,...) and track if 'John' saw it, what time they saw it, which page he spent most of the time. Will tremendously help you decide and customize your next follow-up action when you are engaging with 'John' next time.
Sounds Interesting? Please sign-up below and we would randomly select and sent invites. Thanks in advance!!
Anyone used liquidweb?
looks cool.
Go read this to find what it could be http://www.therodinhoods.com/forum/topics/commitment-to-win
Another personal take away was, if a sales team wins in A/B test of who can sale more, instead on increasing sales team they learned what sales team did differently and then automated whole thing..which is brilliant!
there isnt much info available about other entity...
Whether you get shortlisted or not you will be pitching to lot of investor and using http://www.9slides.com, you can create very effective investor decks.

Good luck!!
FWIW:
1- No investor will sign an NDA on your pitch.
2- Its not just about Idea. You are a developer with an idea, go build it! and share it to the world.

I think biggest pain in hiring for startup world is availability of candidates who are best, available in market and willing to take risks!
Can your app address that?
Good for both, free publicity!
Believe me or not, its actually like rolling a dice, taking chance on the entrepreneurs where sides of dice reads (1)skills (2)passion (3) Commitment (4)traction (5) smartness (6)Duh
Its just that they can make a move only after three dice rolls, and if they see 'Duh' appears once, they would have to throw the dice and consider a new dice for the game of start-up.
What matters in the early stage is your team's passion, skills and commitment to do something. Mobile or no mobile, good idea or bad idea, if you dont have above than you are not heading anywhere wrt running your startup.
Most of the time companies appreciate the fact that you have experience running something, even if you to close your startup eventually.

Its not about rich or poor. Its about focus and need.
Early in the product/company building stage you need to be doing lot of development (assuming you are a tech co-founder), but as company grow, most likely your profile is going to grow as well and now you are not developing anymore (or at least not so often). And hence there is much lesser need to be on dev/hacker network. Now they have team of devs, and I am they are here, contributing.
you will have better chance of finding lot of good advise and potentially a good adviser if you share more about what are you building. You dont have to share secret sauce, but at least an overview. "Media" is too broad
Hi Andrew, I dont have personal horror story to share, but I am really please to see WhiteHouse engaging in conversation with hackers/startups here!
I was lucky to get my green card soon enough, which enabled me to start my own, create new jobs and now we have some customers across the world as well (doing our little part in economy)
You might want to share which town you are in and what other places you are willing to relocate.
Also when you say mobile, is it iOS or Android or? Adding a link to your resume/blog here might help you get some opportunities from this forum itself
Its unlikely that google will exit email market in near future.
Its a roller coaster, every few hours ...:)
Good News
You are completely normal, especially in the entrepreneurial world where folks get bored pretty often. Do whatever, but dont give up your search for the 'fit' I am sure you will find a way out.
