a browser based mass multiplayer online game with a sci-fi "the expanse" like setting.

remember the old school (2004) games you used to play with your browser. play it again with new technology but old flair.

currently there are 150 players, but no money made so far because I don't like pay to win and without that it's hard to monetize such a game

I recently translated it into english so everyone can play with us :)

Devs. it is a miniseries and has only marginally to do with AI. you will enjoy it none the less. also there is Westworld. and ghost in the shell (and matrix, of course) Ex Machina is great, too.

im glad you asked: we try to use Foss as much as possible. I have a Kubernetes cluster in hetzner with split horizon DNS (for DNS I use googles DNS solution), for VPN I use openvpn. for Chat we use Mattermost. for video chat First jitsi then discord (jitsi is hard to selfhost). for project management Gitlab professional. we use notion for documenting as much as possible but we want to switch to outlined soon. dockermail for email (but not yet automated forwarding and filtering). file transfer with Nextcloud. tracking time with toptals toptracker. docker remote workspaces with kasm (we require working with Linux OS only so if you don't bring Linux, then you have to use our docker workspace). we get that question a lot and are currently working on a simple solution to create such an environment with a few clicks (powered by helm and the cloud of your choice)

I have created a software agency 4 years ago. we are full remote and 5 fulltime and 7 partime workers (some working students included). I pay myself 70k p.a. and reinvest the rest into the company. it is growing around 100% in revenue each year. in the beginning I asked myself whether it's worth it not to just develop for a big company, but now it pays. I don't even have to work the full 8 hours a day.

I have my own company with 10 employees and only recently started out learning about business development. I recently took a coach for sales and she could provide valuable info. now I figured that it would be better to hire someone who does that for me.

that being said, I believe that you shouldn't wait until you learned skills X and y until you open your own company. you'll never start if you always think that you have learn more before you start

The End of CI 4 years ago

you could amend a commit with a flag if the git hook ran. if the flag is set one wouldn't have to execute the whole CI pipeline

I found the "basilisk collection" (at the bottom of "bottom of the iceberg") the most fascinating one .

I have the feeling that the whole iceberg only exists for us to click on this very article (as both share the same domain)
